states. we begin with several breaking stories right now at noon, first, though, a lobster boat catches fire and sinks off the coast. thank you for being here. >> the coast guard tells us, one man was on board and put on a survival suit and jumped in to the water. a nearby boat picked up the man. the boat wound up sinking. also a man under arrest in connection with a woman's body found burned in the wooster woods. hogan was charged with misleading investigators. police are not saying what his role was in the fire. other than to say he is connected. authorities have not yet released the victim's identity, we are following the story and will have more coming up tonight on the news at 5:00. breaking now, president obama has just rejected a

to build the keystone pipeline. the nearly 1200-mile pipeline has been in limbo for 7 years. plans started in canada through nebraska. before they connect to existing lines. the pipeline requires a presidential permit to cross the u.s. canadian border something president obama says he will not sign. the keystone pipeline has ban hut button issue between environmentalists who want to phase out fossil fuels and the energy industry. crash of a russian plane, russia suspended all flights to egypt. isis planted bomb is suspected as a likely cause. hundreds of tourists are strappeds as the airport struggles with security concerns. all this prompting the u.s. to step up airport security back here at home. it could happen as early as

to leave egypt, this is after britain suspended flights to the airport. two british flights heading to pick up the tourists were turned around. nearly 20,000 british tourists are stranded there. any checked bags will be flown back separately after it goes through security. today, russia suspended flights to egypt saying the move does not mean russia now believes that the metro jet was caused because of terrorism. russian officials say flights will not resume until e gips authorities put a proper level of security in place. we will stay on top of this story and new development tons plane crash, stay with us on air and on line, cbs boston.com. checking in with the weather, going for record today.

middle 60s on cape cod. 61 chatham. 67 wooster. 70 providence. a lot of spots in the lower 70s like yesterday. pittsburgh 73 degrees. middle to upper 60s and the south shore 70 marshfield. there are more clouds than yesterday, we are seeing breaks of sunshine, peeks of blue. may jump up by a couple of degrees with the gusty southwest breeze and cruiseing to the 60s. pest chance of a shower in the city of boston, 8:30, 9:00. give or take a little bit. couple of showers now, from wood pole, back up, crossing minutes. a front back to our west. we put the temperatures on here. 60s and 70s, ahead of the front, behind it, 50s, 40s, 30s on the map. that's the cooler air mass

that's going to come back to new england. a brief passing shower this evening, west to east, that's the cool front. tomorrow morning, it's just pushing off the coastline. the moisture should stay there, the one exception being nantucket, may get a brief sprinkle. most of us will be dry. temperatures in the 60s with lingering clouds at times. sunday, high pressure builds in, gusty winds, crisp, dry fall air comes back. the dew points are in the 60s. only going to be in the 30s by the time we get to sunday. partly cloudy overnight. by the way, temperatures gradually cool. these lows tomorrow morning 56, around 50 in the suburbs. this is still above average, about 61 boston tomorrow. highs in the upper 50s from bedford back up to manchester, lower 60s on the cape and island. we drop down by 10 degrees on
