>> reporter: the attorney general says this man did not think he had a choice but to go along with these terrible working conditions. this went on for almost 2 years. it was not until he stopped working there that he called to report it. when we paid a visit to peabody market no one seemed to know anything about the employee who was living in a broken down cooler. >> a refrigerated unit that was not working, so it was not cool. it was there and basically used as an oversized closet for this individual to live in. >> reporter: the store and its owner have been cited more than $43,000 in fines for failing to pay the clerk's minimum wage. the attorney general says the employee was often working more than 100 hours a week and was

only being paid for radically -- sporadically. authorities found that there were not even adequate payroll records. >> that is incredible that the owner would even allow that. >> reporter: an employee told us that the man who owned the store when this happened sold it to a new owner. but the secretary of state's records still list the original owner. >> i don't want to give any of my money or business to a store that treats employees like that.>> reporter: with that, he had into a different store. we try to reach the man who currently owns a market but he did not return our message. are attempts to reach the original owner were unsuccessful. he is appealing the citation and she urges anyone with a

a lobster man was trapped on his boat when it caught fire and he had to jump into the water to get away. we are live in ipswich. >> reporter: earlier today sam allen was picked up from the water by friendly fisherman. unfortunately, his livelihood burned and then sank. >> all of the sudden it turns black and we raised in and pulled him out of the water. >> reporter: good samaritans to the rescue after a frightening day. >> it felt pretty good. >> reporter: around 9:30 this morning sam allen radioed the coast guard.

the only day we could see below average temperatures through the next week's sunday. 70 in boston. it's cooler across the cape and the islands. pretty uncomfortable there with the winds gusting up to 30 miles per hour. we are watching a band of showers moving their way from west to east that will come through over the next couple of hours. a few quick showers. taking a look at the changes ahead. tomorrow we will be above average. sunday we will be just below the line. but next week the mild air will return. there is a cold front moving

through tonight that will bring the temperatures down on sunday. but tonight through midnight it will stay very warm and muggy. we will still be in the mid-60s across the area just after midnight. we are in the 50s tomorrow morning. we do not rebound much tomorrow. the driver air will take over. low 60s for boston east. we will cool off more tomorrow night. very dry air by sunday with more classic november weather. the cloud cover will still be with us tomorrow. it will be partly sunny. it will clear tomorrow night and into sunday. partly sunny and breezy on saturday with lower 60s for the highs.

again and on sunday we are looking at mostly sunny skies and temperatures in the low 50s. great football weather. here is the seven-day forecast. next week we warm back up. 50s in monday -- on monday and 60s moved back in. -- move back in. this has been a demanding stretch for the patriots and they are heavily favored against the washington redskins this weekend. they will play at gillette stadium. the redskins have not been that good on the road this year. at this point you almost feel like you are wondering if the patriots will cover the spread rather than win.

favorite on sunday. they will play their fourth game in the 19 day stretch when they host the wind skins -- redskins. at this point you cannot be more pleased if you are a patriots fan. tom brady has been phenomenal throwing 20 touchdowns and just one interception. is receiving crew hope to keep things going sunday. >> it's truly any given sunday. they get paid as well. they are going to come out here and will be playing their hardness. -- hardest. these guys are professionals. they have a coaching staff that is working hard. we have to do everything we can >> they are a good football team.
