we're just focusing on the wheel. >> not a bad weekend overall. we keep is mainly dry. temperatures starting off in the 50s and 60s. boston 62. 52 norwood. 57 plymouth. even right around right 60 degrees hyannis, chatham. a pleasant start to the day. no rain. we only have a few thin high level clouds out there over boston. and some clearing skies between hartford and the mass pike. it will be partly sunny for the rest of today. we don't expect heavy showers unless you're on the cape and islands. then you might see a sprinkle, a brief shower. a breeze from the west with temperatures slightly cooler than the last couple of days. we'll keep high temps right around 60 degrees. cooler day for sunday, even compared to what we'll have today. then we keep is dry but for how long? i'll have the answer coming up in the seven-day forecast.

see how they're doing. in weymouth, julie loncich, wbz this morning. police are looking for a man who touched an 11-year-old girl inappropriately. he apologized but that is not doing anything to calm parents' fears. >> reporter: 9:00 in the morning on the way to the school bus stop an 11-year-old says a man grabbed her from behind. i spoke with the woman who knows her but does not want to be identified. intelligent. she just let other people know about it which is smart because something about it. >> reporter: the girl reported she turned around. away. the woman who knows her says there was no way the man thought the girl was older than a child. >> it's concerning as a parent with children now you can't let your kids outside because you're afraid something's going to happen. >> reporter: police searched the area around one gavin way but did not find the guy. parents are concerned not only is the man still out there but

of people were around. >> so blatant about it to come out here when they're going to school to do something like that? it's scary. >> i can't say what i want to say on camera, you know what i mean. there's no need of that really. i hope they find the guy. >> reporter: the girl described her attacker as white or light skinned between 5'7" and 5'8" and in his early 20s. in south boston, wbz this morning. a gymnastics coach has turned himself into police. he's accused of sexually assaulting one ever his young athletes. he assaulted a child at u.s.a. ninja challenge. kids are never left alone with instructors but he's on leave till the case is resolved. parents we spoke with said they never seen this coming. >> it's good exercise, a great place. i'm very surprised to hear about it. >> he will be back in court next month.

in the meantime he's barred from working or volunteering with any children. a former uber driver has pleaded not guilty to charges he attacked four women in boston over four years. alejandro done is already serving 10 to 12 years in prison convicted of a raping -- of raping a woman last year. the d.n.a. connects him with attacks in 2006 and 2010. the mashpee school district superintendent is on indefinite leave accused of breaking into a student's home. on thursday brian hyde pleaded not guilty to trespassing charges. police say he broke into the home to see if the student really lived there. aaron hernandez and his defense team got a setback in his double murder trial. the judge has rejected a request to throw out evidence seized from an suv he drove the night he killed two men in south end.

department of homeland security is expanding screening of items and people behind the seejs. fishes say -- scenes. officials say the efforts will focus on commercial flights bound from the u.s. to certain overseas airports in the region. now to a developing story. to police officers facing -- two police officers facing murder charges in the shooting death of a 6-year-old little boy. norris greenhouse and derek stafford fired at least 18 rounds at an unarmed man and his son following a chase on tuesday night in central louisiana. 6-year-old jeremy martis died of multiple gunshot wounds still buckled into the front seat of his dad's suv. his father was shot in the head and is in critical condition. investigators would not release any details about why the officers were chasing the suv. two other officers involved in the chase have not been charged. looks like national grid wants to charge you more for electricity. the utility's proposed increase

out of ideas for the perfect gift? drones are going to be on a lot of techies' wish list this year. a few things you need to know, though, in today's tech minute. glrs if you own a drone, the first thing to know is you can't buy them everywhere. here are the basics. drones have to fly below 400 feet. you have to be able to see it at all times and they should stay at least five miles away from airports and out of national parks. some drone makers build in gps technology that automatically keeps your drone out of these no-fly zones.

"spotlight" is open in limited release focusing on "boston globe"'s reporting of the clergy sex abuse scandal and coverup. one survivor came to boston all the way from dublin, ireland to see the scene. one man was abused by two priests who have since moved to another country. he says the movie does a good job telling the story of how "globe" reporters uncovered the story but he doesn't want to forget about survivors. >> i'm hoping that as of this movie, obviously the one -- obviously one, worldwide people will understand what boston went through. the dedication of the survivor groups put in to making sure this story got told. >> he said he flew here

dublin. the supreme court will once again be taking up the issue of forcing employers to pay for contraception. this will be the fourth time controversial aspect of obama >> reporter: the supreme court is taking up the obama care birth control mandate again. this case is a sequel of sorts to the hobby lobby case which forced the obama administration to expand that groups do not have to comply with the law's requirements to provide birth control but some religious organizations including one called little sisters of the poor argue the new rules don't go far enough to protect their religious freedom. even if though outsource birth control providing they're still oppose. this will be the fourth time high court. a good samaritan is getting

lobsterman who jumped into the water off of his burning boat. the 28-foot vessel went up in flames off crane beach in ipswich friday morning and sank soon after. the lobsterman jumped right off to escape the flames. the good samaritan says he's just happy that everyone is okay. >> reporter: you ever save a guy from the water before? >> no, first time. felt pretty good. >> the lobsterman did have a fire extinguisher on board but it wasn't enough. he got into a survival suit before he jumped into the water which likely saved his life. there are renewed domestic violence issues for the n.f.l. and greg harty of the dallas cowboys. police photos have been released taken the night his ex- her. we warn you these pictures are a bit difficult to seat. -- to see. a judge found harty guilty of domestic assault last year. but when he appealed to a full jury trial, the former

good morning, everyone. tomorrow the patriots will play their fourth game in a 19-day stretch when they host the redskins at gillette stadium. to this point you couldn't be more pleased with the results. tough wins over the colts and jets before blowing out miami last thursday to improve to 7-0 on the season. tom brady has been leading the way. phenomenal through seven games. 20 touchdowns, one interception. the receiving crew hope to keep things rolling tomorrow against the 3-4 redskins.

no one makes a positive impact on a child like a teacher does. in this case that impact is truly life changing. jake marrazzo is only 12 years old but has to use a wheelchair to get around. one of his teachers was inspired to find a way to help him. take a look. >> i can't walk anymore. i originally could when i was little. >> reporter: 12-year-old jake is learning a lot of hard lessons about life but his approach to if is inspiring those around him. >> every morning he has a big smile. if somebody like that can be happy every single day, what do we have to complain about? >> reporter: he suffers from duchenne muscular dystrophy. >> it's like als except in children. if you can imagine watching someone you love with all your heart struggle, it's heart wrenching. >> reporter: he lost his ability to walk this year but

he's not letting that slow him down. >> it was hard to drive when i first got it. his name is panther. i named my wheelchair. i don't get sad when i see people running because i can get in my wheelchair and there i go. i'm running with them. >> reporter: the family has slowly been making the home more wheelchair accessible but the costs are challenging. they started a foundation called for jakes' sake. >> his best buddies live next door. we wanted to stay here. we decided we'll have to suck it up and figure out how to get the money for the elevator and that's what we've been doing. >> reporter: that's where his comes in. neck. >> that's where i was two years ago. i look at someone like that who is still smiling, it helps me push me more and have me take the next step. >> reporter: she's now running a half marathon for jake and is hosting a comedy show to help raise money for the family. >> i feel grateful for it. >> it's heart warming.
