40 feet into the river. two people inside despite desperate attempts by rescuers, they beth passed away. witnesses couldn't believe what they were seeing when the vehicle went in. >> all i heard was a horn going off and then i heard the impact. and i look over and i see that that piece of bridge over there is kind of crumpled, one piece solid in the water and the tail lyings as the truck went over. >> state police trooper tried to jump in and make a rescue, driver -- divers were also on the scene. rescuers gave them cpr but to no avail. submerged in water. just through the guard rail lying on its side to where two victims, as far as what happen that will be up to the conduct an investigation. together just what happen. >> state police will now

welcome back, it is 6:57, logan airport is helping people with autism get comfortable with flying. this is a great program. they hosted dozens of family yesterday to rehearse the flying experience. the kids with autism checked in at the ticket counter with their parents, got boarding passes and went through the security check. then they boarded assimilated flight. families say it helps kids understand what happens at the fly. 6:57, coming up today, a little bit different today, we are going to talk about lost

that you don't necessarily see in these long-standing income is. if you look at murphy and yancey, i think their combined total year spent on the council was something like 50 years. a young, aggressive, female candidate coming in and offering something new, i think was a very exciting to the voters. >>reporter: joe, i don't think it's a surprise to anyone, that at some point, generational change does occur. the electorate gets younger, although in municipal elections not so much. but, certainly, these are two veteran guys replaced by fresh faces. >>reporter: exacerbated by low voter turnout or not a lot of interest. just the general thing that we can take from municipal elections here in boston and around the state, all the way to the race for the white house right now. the anti- establishment, anti- incumbent sort of mood that is out there. when a new candidate comes along, god forbid someone with

". >> what was actually interesting is that we've seen bernie sanders walk back those e-mail statements, and he's had a much more aggressive stance. he still is not making it the prime issue of his campaign to be smarter than that.
