going about 70 miles per hour on blue hill and mattapan. police say the driver appeared to try to get out of the car and that is when the officers reached in to stop him. >> the driver put the car in gear, the officers tried to stop him, took off with the two officers inside the car hanging out from the car. >> they were dragged 100 yards, one officer hit his foot on the car, the other one has back and shoulder injuries, the ride only stopped when the vehicle hit another suv. >> i was a little bit scared. you can see this is where the suspect vehicle hit that parked car. the two officers and the driver are in the hospital, the passenger in that car not expected to face any charges. the driver is at this time police tell me they have to talk with everyone involved to figure out why that suspect

officers will be able to police shot him for holding a gun that turned out to be a toy. the man accused of a deadly shooting brighton i don't know is due in court today, 30-year- old desmond joseph was shot and killed two weeks ago on tall ford street. on friday police caught up with the suspect in new bedford and arrested him. anonymous tip led him to muse a. -- muse a. this man pulled a knife on employees on andover street just before 10:00 last night, he took off possibly in a black ford fusion. witnesses describe him as hispanic with a white mask and hooded sweatshirt. no one was injured it is 4:35, a big announcement from the state's top medical colleges

cold start this morning, it's 29ees, nashua at 30. boston one of the warmer spots at logan airport sitting at 44, we have a cold and frosty spot in the suburbs, tauton and norwood dipped into the upper 20s. then we do have 40s when you get from provincetown, chat ham and nantucket, we are in for bright sunshine today, a beautiful start to our week, there is moisture down to the south, a wave of low pressure coming up through the southeast, some of this moisture is playing a role in our weather. high pressure is in control, that will slide off the coastline, expect sunshine and a light southwest breeze today, really nice fall afternoon, the clouds will gradually increase overnight tonight and during the day tomorrow, there is some of that moisture, it looks like a lot of that is passing out to sea tomorrow, we will get some showers heading into overnight tomorrow and early on wednesday morning. more importantly, there may be a gusty wind that comes in off
