afternoon as we head through the afternoon hours, it does look like a wet commute for us. early wednesday morning before that storm starts to move off to the east. wind advisories out for the coastline anywhere from the north shore cape end and nantucket. there could be a couple of power outages. and once it starts to move out some of the coldest air we have seen so far in its wake. take a look at the forecast coming up in a few. now at 6:00 a woman murdered in lin. police have charged the man she lived with and it's a story that sounds too familiar. he has been arrested before for abuse. jim is live with the story. >> reporter: people, as you

might expect are very, very upset. police and neighbors confirm they had a violent relationship. >> she was a nice lady. i remember her. >> reporter: outrage in a lynn neighborhood. police say strangled by her boyfriend. prosecutors say wood bury has been arrested for domestic assault seven times over the past three years. >> he should have stayed in jail for a long tile. police should have noticed it happens a lot so why don't you keep those men in jail? >> reporter: when police got there she was dead on the floor and say they found him watching t.v. watching a football game and drinking a beer. >> they were able to force

and see miss kanakanucha laying on the floor and they found him in the back bedroom watching t.v. and drinking beer. >> i feel bad for the lady and it's so sad. >> reporter: once again, he is held without bail tonight. he's due back in court next month. live in lynn tonight. jim smith wbz news. a dorchester man is behind bars on charges of dragging two police officers with his car. last night officers say they pulled him over- and as they started talking to him he started to take off and dragged them.

as the heat went up, but we wouldn't have had that to night. >> reporter: it's been a very warm november and peaceful november but now we are watching a coastal storm and maybe a couple of scattered power outages. the rain will arrive tomorrow afternoon. in terms of the winds, it will be gust at the coast tomorrow afternoon through evening the strongest winds cape cod and nantucket. maybe a minor over splash on wednesday morning, but no big issues there. 41 in king, 41 in norwood. it will not get as cold as last night. lower 40s in downtown boston. some high clouds are starting to move in. see them just moving up across

right now rather disorganized it will become a much more potent air of low pressure as we head into wednesday. the clouds will come in and reach the mid to upper 50s. and the rain will approach during the afternoon. the time stamp right there. some filtered sunshine in the morning especially heading into northern massachusetts and vermont. the rain will begin to increase from south to north. pretty wet commute. areas of heavy rain up through tomorrow evening and tomorrow night. wet tuesday night and maybe good sleeping weather if you have the windows open just a touch. some areas of rain lingering and drizzling, but in terms of the impact on commuter cast tomorrow evening and wednesday morning both feeling a little

as that starts to wrap up and bring in the strong winds and northeasterly winds by wednesday, by dinner time tomorrow into the cape and nantucket. and the storms are reaching a more mature phase. also inlands the winds will not be nearly as much of an issue, but no damage expected. we have winds advisories out in north shore, peek gust 40 to 50 miles per hour again late tuesday night and into wednesday. veterans day itself hour-by- hour looks like a pretty chilly and raw day. temperatures will hold in the 40s, plus there will be a lot of wind. but you will need the rain gear if you are heading out to meet those observances.
