breaking news at 5:30, and a large group of fast food workers outside the state house right now protesting what they call low wages. these are live pictures the demonstrators want a $15 minimum wage. they're hoping to influence the upcoming presidential election earlier in the day. a similar group rallied at nathaniel hall. and wet and windy weather moving into massachusetts. i know we need it. the rain is already falling in parts of the area and it's just going to get heavier. >> bound to make a mess of the commute tomorrow. >> i know we need it. directed at me. because i always talk about the beneficial rainfall. most of this rain is coming at

night and tomorrow morning and not on the weekend. i always try to look for that silver lining. the rain is starting to increase and work its way from the south. the rain is heavier at cape cod. that will be the trend as we move into tonight. that rain will be increasing and becoming more steady. the wind starts to pick up out of the northeast. temperatures fall back into the 40s it's going to be a raw and wet evening for us. for tomorrow morning, certainly want to give yourself some extra time. we're looking at a high impact weather. you will have the rain and wind and a lot of winds on the road so it could be slick if you're going to be traveling. the winds will be strongest right along the coastline with those gusts. peak gusts 40 miles per hour. the outer cape and nantucket. that's where we could see power outages tomorrow. more rainfall and changes for

you have to love this, there's a new way to fight parking tickets in boston. >> the city's parking office is now using skype but only for people who don't live in massachusetts. if you're from out of state and you get a ticket you can log in and video chat with a representative from the parking office. you're asked to send in any evidence that may help your case in advance. so far, all five cases appealed through skype have been dismissed. >> you have to love that idea. >> i think that's a fantastic idea.

the cape. some rainfall working its way through massachusetts. starting to see sprinkles, but the heavier stuff toward the -- region. degrees. we're going to fall into the of rain. you notice tomorrow morning, out the door. commute weather expect it to be very wet outside. give yourself extra time. a lot of that steadier rain is going to start winding down but it will still be damp, it will still be windy and there will be showers. especially across eastern massachusetts. farther west you go you will still be socked into the clouds. there will be some drizzle but the real steadier rain will be tapering off throughout the afternoon. the rain having an impact in terms of the commute.

making sure we keep an eye on all those leaves. the wind is probably the bigger factor for this particular storm. starts to pick up tomorrow night. will be. right near the coast is where you will feel the most. cape cod, nantucket and martha's vineyard. you notice the storm, circulation the center right in there moving offshore east of nantucket. outside. these gusts could cause a few isolated power outages and bring down a couple of trees through the course of tomorrow. making it a little bit on the miserable side to be outside. from cape anne to the south shore, south shore cape, vineyard and nantucket 20- -mile-per-hour winds and the seas will be very rough. high temperatures tomorrow stay put in the 40s to 50 degrees. very chilly day.

our coldest day so far this month. unfortunately it's veteran's day and there's plans, certainly ongoing. there will be observances and parades. you want the warm gear and rain gear. the winds will be with us all day. not a lot of time to catch our breath. we'll get a cold front tomorrow morning. but another front approaches, that brings showers and downpours as well as gusty winds. that clears on friday. and that's going to bring a pattern change for us as we head into the weekend. temperature wise, they're also taking a break. upper 50s on friday. and we're in the 40s this upcoming weekend. here's your accu weather day. there might be a few flurries late friday night into saturday morning. mainly in the higher terrain. next week high pressure sets up shop again so we will get into another dry stretch. >> that sounds good. >> one storm a month. we can take that. >> not bad -z. thousands of families are celebrating the anniversary of
