tornadoeses on one side and blizzard on the other. for tonight mainly cloudy skies. when we get a little bit of clearing that is where fog fills in. a lot of clouds around for tomorrow. i think a few peaks of morning sunshine. otherwise a mostly cloudy day in terms of shower timing, right around lunch. should start moving in from the south and west. scattered out through the afternoon and evening hours. no umbrella for tomorrow. just about every town should pick up a little more in the rain drop department. high temperatures tomorrow low 50s to middle 50s. pretty much on target. another system behind that. we head into friday. that storm i showed you in the middle of the country is now curled up to our north. another disturbance on friday evening. that should bring us more rain. maybe for higher elevations snowshowers on friday night and early into saturday morning.

this weekend is where things start to calm down. friday winds gusting over 30 miles an hour. still a gusty wind on saturday as that colder air comes in but still mainly dry. high pressure will come in and kick off a great stretch. upper 50s on friday, lot of wind there and on saturday. a little more comfort and and brighter on sunday. next week, is looking beautiful. at least pour the first half. >> awesome thanks eric. in health news if you get the flu shot each and every year, some information i thought we were supposed to get it every year. >> you still are supposed to get it every year. flu shot is a very safe vaccine. however, experts are troubled

by a couple of recent studies i have suggested flu vaccine in people who have not received the year before in some cases during the previous five years. for now, it is much better to be vaccinated than not. hopefully future studies overseas will shed light. does getting a shot then mean it sort of deactivates the shot you have next year. we have to figure that out. >> advice is still get it. >> still get it. >> it is so hot right now, drinking carbonated water. i do. a lot of people think it is healthier than so today or be. >> taste is different. little bit sparklely. >> i have a family of diabetics

well the spirit of veteran's day in boston will last longer this year. two men have proudly served our country. >> they are backing a new 5k run and walk. as i found out for them, this is personal. >> i ran in a lot of races, yeah. >> reporter: he is one of the biggest donor to the upcoming da5k. >> we can't do enough. i was fortunate. i was world war. two i served all the theaters of war. i never got a scratch. you know, i mean. >> reporter: incredibly lucky.

>> i was a kid. i went in at 16 years old. i was not afraid then. now i am afraid. >> reporter: for good reason. even soldiers who don't get hurt physically can suffer. they can return home with ptsd. >> what they do for the united states, nobody knows really. >> reporter: bobby knows, his nephew viet nam veteran robert whitney served in the army. he graduated 4th in has class from mit. he returned with severe ptsd. >> which is. >> reporter: which is why he is donating thousands of dollars to the run. >> i know in my own case it was dava that helped me out. >> reporter: and helped you get the resources you needed.
