but with a light breeze, it does feel slightly cooler like 30 in boston, 27 nashua. you want the heavy winter coat as you head out the door and light breeze will stick around throughout the day, sustained wind between 5, 10 miles per hour in most spots. p-town, gusts of 22 miles per hour. for your day planner, 50s the rest of the afternoon. 53 by 3:00, light breeze sticks around and a few passing clouds in the forecast. pretty decent forecast for you to wrap up the weekend and then as we head into monday, more seasonal temperatures, but a little bit of a cold snap. im have those detail in your seven day. kerry? >> pamela, thank you so much. the heart break in paris lighting candles and leaving bouquets to honor victims killed when terrorists struck in the heart of the sioux city. the people are oak three days of national mourning after the coordinated terror attack shocked the country and the entire world. here's the latest on the terror in paris.

129. 352 others are injured. i.s.i.s. has claimed responsibility for the attacks carried out by three teams of terrorists at six different location. we now know at least one american was among those killed, a student from cal state. popular attractions like the eiffel tower and disneyland paris are all closed now as france observes three days of morning. kenneth craig has the very latest from paris. >> reporter: we are standing just a few block from where the deadliest of those attack happened at that concert hall. tonight you can see growing memorial behind me as a massive terrorism investigation is underway. across paris, mourners lit candles and comforted each other at memorials one day after their city was terrorized. >> really sad for our friend and people who died. >> reporter: the eiffel tower

city were cancelled, including a sold-out u2 concert. members of the band paid respects saturday night. one of the victims is an american, 23-year-old cal state student noeme gonzalez. >> she was a deep presence in our department and will be extraordinarily, profoundly missed. >> reporter: the fbi will send a handful of agents to paris but at this point, the french government has not asked for investigative assistance. three teams of extremists carried the attacks -- first near france's national stadium, where french president hollande evacuated after a suicide bomber blew himself up when his vest was detected. minutes later, another group opened fire at a string of crowded cafes, killing dozens the gunmen attacked customers at this attack, firing 100 bullets. some went through these front windows. another team took hostage at

the bataclan concert hall where an american band was playing. 89 people were killed. french authorities say they have identified the seven attackers. the islamic state claimed responsibility. and this memorial behind me is one of about 10 across the city honoring the victims kill in friday's attacks. reporting in paris, kenneth craig, wbz news. > kenneth, thank you. in boston, solidarity rally will be held at noon on the boston common near the bandstand. the governor, charlie baker, and boston mayor marty walsh are scheduled to attend. last night, there was a vigil at boston university. dozens of students gathered outside marsh chapel to remember the victims and support classmates with friend overseas. there are no report of any boston student injured or killed in the attack. the fbi, meanwhile, is sending reinforcements to france to help in the investigation. meanwhile, terrorism experts around the world are bracing

through the new threat pose by i.s.i.s. and the potential for similar attacks anywhere at any time. there have been no known threats made against the united states, but jim smith reports analysts say america needs to be vigilant. >> reporter: state police are continuing high visibility patrols at the state house and other sites throughout the area. troopers also have a comprehensive system in place at logan airport. former police commissioner and wbz security analyst ed davis says there is no other option. >> i think you can safely say that the security level has been ratcheted up a bit after this incident and this incident is really a game changer. it shows us that this is an ongoing war that, uh, we're in and we have to be aware of that and we have to be cautious. >> reporter: the paris attack proves free society is difficult to patrol and make totally safe. >> we're covering all the major venues today.

boston to check everything and makes you realize there's some weaknesses and you have public spaces it shows you that, you know, we have to be very, uh, diligent and keeping our eyes open. >> the u.s. is stressing cooperation with other nations in finding some way to stem the tide of terrorist violence. >> the united states stands with france and the rest of the world in our resolve to eliminate, discourage violent extremist group from the face of the earth and make no mistake, that resolve has only grown stronger in the wake of this unspeakable brutality. >> reporter: there's one more look at the growing memorial here at the french consulate in downtown boston as bostonians try to express their sorrow and support for the french people. as far as the increased security, there's no timetable. that will be all dictated by world and local events. once again, state police said there's no credible threat directed toward massachusetts but they're not taking any chances.

in downtown boston, jim smith, wbz this morning. for many bostonian, the paris attacks are an awful reminder of the marathon bombings two and a half years ago. paul was at logan airport. >> reporter: travelerrers embrace each other in tears. >> i'm just happy to be back. >> reporter: brooke is thankful to be home. saturday afternoon. >> i was very close to the shootings. some of my coworkers are next to is shooting. >> i'm happy she's back here. i didn't know i would be this emotional but i'm just -- so happy to see her. >> so happy she's back. it's an early thanksgiving for us. >> reporter: jerry was out for dinner with friend in paris when the chaos fan. hotel. >> the hotel was on lockdown so we couldn't get and had to buzzer and finally they peeked out and they let us in. it's a very sad day, scary day, experience again. >> outside boston city hall,

half-staff and at the french consulate, memorial grows as mourners light candles and lay flowers. >> people are crazy. >> reporter: sophie has family in paris. they're safe. >> i'm really happy my people are fine. i call them all and the people i called, i ask them, "are your people fine?" and their people are fine. but there is 120 people that are not fine. >> reporter: boston marathon survivor heather abbott said the attacks bring back memories. >> it's just senseless and unfortunate and i think it's really sad that two and a half years later, um, you know, being at this event, you know, having to think about something like that happening and another part of the world is really sad. >> reporter: paul burton, wbz news. >> the boston family which suffered immeasurable loss during the marathon bombings is showing their support for the victims. richard martin was the youngest victim of the attack.

the bombings happened there so similar scenario, a lot of -- uh -- a lot of panic. >> reporter: he was at dinner when the attacks happened. text messages alerted him to the violence. the only way to get back to his hotel was walk 2 miles. >> you don't know if there's going to be any more so -- that was a little bit of "get your heart going" and move a little quicker than you usually would. >> reporter: he took these photos showing the police and military presence. he felt safe enough to go out. >> a lot less for a saturday night than you normally see in any big city so restaurants were, you know, available to get tables you normally couldn't get into. >> was working last night. >> reporter: braden perkins owns two restaurant in paris and lives in paris. even though the attack were in another part of the city, his patrons stayed through the night. >> certainly, uh, subdued, like people -- there was, like, kind of nervous energy. you know, communicating between people, looking at people.

we often bring you building implosions but how many times have you seen a pier implode? in is an fran the last remaining span of the old bay bridge was demolished. it took nearly 600 explosive charge and done in six seconds. traffic was briefly stopped during the demolition and the subways were temporarily stopped from passing through the area. something about implosions. we love to see those. fascinating. >> yeah. >> we have never seen that. >> no. so temperatures we haven't seen in a while. what's going on there? >> we're a little chilly this morning, definitely. the winds won't be as strong as the last couple of days and will feel better this afternoon, especially with some sun and seasonal temperatures. at least five to ten degrees warmer compared to yesterday. boston, 38 degrees. a cool start to the day, 30 for your real-feel temperatures. we factor in the wind chill, wind sustained from the west at

we have a clear sky out there, a bright morning with those stars, a clear sky and cool temperature and a perfect view of venus, jupiter and mars, all three on the eastern- southeastern horizon just before sunrise. sustained wind speeds between 5 and 15 miles per hour in spots. p-town getting a wind speed of 25 miles per hour. yo, it feels cooler. 27 in nashua, 32 worcester, 37 taunton, heavy winter coats probably necessary as you head out the door, maybe to church later on. temperatures will be slightly cooler and we're running five degrees cooler than yesterday, 15 degrees colder in nashua. hour by hour forecast -- here's the plan. 52 degrees is our average high.

average. 55 from beverly to bedford, nashua -- to the west, fitchburg, 55. a few passing clouds late in the day just before sunset, 54 falmouth, 51 chatham, and we expect full sunshine on the cape and island. overnight, dip into the 40s and 30s, similar to what we experienced last night, and then it looks like we'll get another shot of reinforced air, cold air that is, monday and hour by hour forecast -- we keep it dry for you. there's a cold front and high pressure to the south and west but another high-pressure system will develop to our north here in canada and that is going to help to usher in some chilly air monday into tuesday and wednesday, giving slightly below normal temperatures but at least we'll have some sunshine so there's good news. 53.

wbz this morning. >> top of the morning. good morning, everybody, on this sunday, november 15. i'm kerry connolly, along with pamela gardener. we're certainly glad you're waking up with us today. >> uh-huh. >> pamela bringing cooler temps but no winds. that makes a difference. a huge difference. the windows were shaking -- >> i know it. >> not the case for today. unless you're on the cape and island, you have a gust of wind, but those temperatures -- we'll start with those first. 38 boston, 27 nashua, 32 worcester, and since the wind has subsided in a lot of spots, you may seem some of that frost developing. we have less of a breeze here to the north and west. fitchburg, calm conditions. manchester, light breeze. p-town, 25-mile-per-hour sustained wind with gusts pushing 35 miles per hour. we keep the cape and island just a little breezier today. real feel temp in the 30s and 20s.

wind chill a factor, but later today, tons of sunshine, a few passing clouds and on our way to a seasonal high of 53 degrees. in just a bit, it looks like we'll have some cooler temps on the way. pill explain why and let you know how long we'll stay dry in your seven day. kerry? >> all right, pamela, thank you. to the latest on the terror attacks in paris now. 129 people have died in six different attacks all around the city. among them, a 23-year-old california. more than 350 are injured. french and belgian authorities arrested several people in connection with the attacks. at least one of the terrorists was a french national who was known to police. the paris mayor says the threat is still very high as police and military officials secure the city. some of the people who survived the massacre inside

the theater in paris are speaking out. a father and his 12-year-old son were attending concert. at first, they thought the shots were fireworks, just a part of the show, but they quickly realized they were under attack. >> i felt something go past my ear. i don't know -- was it a bullet or something? i didn't know what it was. then i realized something is coming out, something going towards the stage -- and at that point, i think everybody understood, everybody threw themselves on the ground. i saw the two shooters. one was changing his magazine so he had a load of magazines in front of him, vest on. one of the face was doing crowd control and the other guy was executing. there was no chance of anybody being a hero because these guys were organized. >> wow. 89 people were killed inside the hall. throughout yesterday, people have been leaving flowers, stuffed animals, and other momentos at the scene of the attacks. meanwhile with, members of u2 left flowers outside the concert hall after the attack.

u2 canceled two weekend shows in paris. the attacks are expected to be a major issue as the leader of the 20 top industrialized nations meet. president obama arrived in turkey early this morning. the president called the situation in paris an attack on the severallized world and mr. obama pledged to help track down the attackers. the local islamic community is reacting to these attack. islamic society of boston cultural center released this statement. "our heart and prayers are with those in paris. may god shower his mercy on those who passed, help those who with are wounded and bring justice to those perpetrators of this horrific act." we spoke to a local man on his way to paris and with whether the trip at this time made him nervous or not >> i was just worried, like, what's next? will anything happen or am i

good to go or not? i'm still worried so hopefully i can make it safe. >> reporter: on the other hard you have to live your life, right? >> that's about it, nothing i can do. >> police in boston have been keeping a close eye on the french consulate where message of support continue to be left but that's not all. local officers and state police are patrolling many locations around massachusetts, including the state house and other key sites. the question is, what can be done to keep a free society totally safe? former boston police commissioner and wbz security consultant ed davis says the challenges are huge. >> what is unusual and shocking is that it hasn't happened here. this type of attack would be much easier to put together in the united states because of the availability of firearms. you can't find firearms in france. you have to smuggle them into the country, but here in the united states, this kind of low-

cost, high-impact incident would be much easier to stage. >> police in boston stress they have received no credible threat of any attack. the paris attacks have the nfl increasing security at all of today's football games. the patriots take on the giants today at 4:25 in metlife stadium in new jersey. police said they will be parking lot. meanwhile, landmarks all around the city are paying tribute to the paris victims. the t.d. garden was lit with blue, white, and red lights. the lennox hotel and prudential tower featur ing the colors of france and a digital billboard from route 93 in medford shows the french flag with a giant heart right in the middle. meanwhile, are symbolically standing with france in the wake of the attack. in australia, the sid sidney opera house is bathed in blue, white and red lights. in brazil, the famous christ

>> speak of cool, it's different. >> we have seasonal temperatures, too. plenty of the sunshine in the forecast, even though november is usually gloomy for us in the average percentage of sunshine month by month -- the arrow pointing to november and normally we have half months covered in clouds and it is usually the darkest month of the year but good news -- more sunshine on the way for the next several days. boston right now, we're running on the cooler side compared to yesterday, 38 degrees. real feel temperature once you factor in the wind from the west at 14 miles per hour, feels like 30 degrees. wind chill temperatures making it feel just ever so brisk out there. 20s for those actual temps in keene and nashua, worcester, 32 degrees, 37 taunton. wouldn't be surprised to hear report of frost in low-lie areas blocked by the wind, especially further inland.
