to be the coldest morning of the year, but i couldn't find the scraper. >> i don't think you were the only one in that club. many places were in the teens. martha's vineyard was 19 degrees. no record lows. it's a cold morning. we did add two blue squares. after a warm start for the month, temperatures are turning back. it's not as cold as last night. a few towns fell this evening, 30 to 36 in the suburbs. 39 in boston, the clouds will start to increase. we're watching a larger storm system that's off to our west. the eastern united states is going up to canada. there's a thin line of rain that will move into our neck of the woods for tomorrow. we're looking at the timeline, the clouds thickening up through tomorrow morning. during the afternoon, we have a

chance of a couple of showers, mainly in central massachusetts, and central new hampshire. awhile. that's small line of heavier rainfall. mass. most of our rain will be morning. that lowers the impact. all of these have been similar. it keeps us out of too much trouble. by the time we get to the last of the rain it, leaves eastern massachusetts, and we'll work in sunshine tomorrow afternoon. tomorrow's highs come with a caveat. they'll happy in the evening. we're looking at temperatures that get to the mid and upper 50s, most of the day it will be in the 40s to low 50s. it will be a cool one especially as the clouds increase. in terms of an impact on commute, showers around tomorrow evening, the steadier stuff still lingering in trial morning's drive. plan for extra time out there. it could be a slow drive on

southeast tomorrow afternoon. particularly southeastern massachusetts, it's coinciding with the heavier rainfall. early friday morning, i think the peak gusts will be 35 to 40 miles per hour, cape cod the islands and the south coast, once the front moves through, the winds will switch around and it will stay breezy throughout the day on friday. we'll move to the high pressure, it means and nice start for us a snow make ner the midwest will track off to the west and will keep us off in trouble. it's early on sunday morning, mostly rain drops. it doesn't look to have a big impact on the weekend. 7 to 8:00 on saturday night. lower 40s, cool and dry, it looks excellent, no weather issues, no forecast, it's a good night for football. here's your accuweather forecast, it will be near 50 for saturday and sunday. it's a seasonal weekend for us. monday, tuesday, wednesday and

the contractor blamed for tuesday's miserable traffic. he didn't read the fine print or watch the weather forecast. >> two lanes stayed closed for the morning commute. the work crew had to wait for a joint compound to cure. mass dot told us the joint compound can be used only when it's 45 degrees or higher. it dipped into the 30s and 20s on tuesday morning. the contractor says this won't happen again. >> good to know. maybe we should not expect to see ben carson campaigning in massachusetts. >> his campaign may not be able to find its way here. the carson campaign posted this map on social media praising the states that are not taking on syrian refugees. the map is messed up, the
