a gunman opening fire on a restaurant. these new developments come just hours after a deadly raid in paris. >> this morning, investigators are trying to figure out whether that operation killed a master behind behind those attacks. hi, bree. >> reporter: a new warning from the french prime minister. he says terrorists linked to last week's attacks might use chemical or biological weapons. horrifying in its silence this newly released surveillance video shows the paris restaurant attacked by terrorists last friday. in the security footage, you can see a gunman opening fire as a shower of bullets and glass sent people running for their lives.

at point blank range, but his gun misfires and two women escape. then 4:00 wednesday morning, more gunfire. police shooting some 5,000 rounds during a siege on a paris suburb. russia is now offering a $50 million reward for information. a showdown in washington over alouing syrian refugees into the united states. the republican-led house is expected to pass a measure today increasing screenings of refugees and requiring fbi background checks. the white house says president it. using anxiety over the terror attacks, trump is pushing his own agenda on the campaign stop. >> they are using the internet and recruiting people. for isis. then we let them back into the country! we let them back in! where have you been? i've been fighting for isis. ors, come on back in and go back home to texas. >> reporter: trump didn't offer specifics on how to deal with isis, but did he reiterate his administration would build a wall on the u.s./mexico border

being in court again today as the trial continues. the judge did let him know if at any point he felt like he couldn't be there, that he could simply let the court know of that. court is expected to resume this morning at 9:00 a.m. nicole jacobs, wbz this morning. >> that's chilling video. a halifax man is behind bars charged with murder. prosecutors say a 16-year-old girl led police to soy kent dang's apartment after she saw blood inside. officers found a woman's body cloth. marissa randall was a prostitute and the two argued over how much money was owed. he's being held without bail. an auburn man is accused of attacking his girlfriend and killing her dog. prosecutors say he was angry he had to care for the animal. officers found a pistol with a serial number filed off inside of the house. he is now facing assault,

animal cruelty, and weapons charges. heartbreaking news to tell you about for doug flutie and his parents. both parents died an hour apart. his father had been ill and died of a heart attack. less than an hour afterwards, his mother joan died of a heart attack. flutie is a b.c. hero. boston college tweeted out their condolences as well. >> his parents with are married for 56 years. coming up, david ortiz announces that he's retiring and his fellow athletes are reacting to the news. >> pedro par teenese and tom braid -- pedro martinez and tom brady have something to say quits. >> good morning, danielle. >> good morning, everybody. a much milder start to the day. a lot of us are running in the

flooding is unlikely. the timing, look at this. this evening. there may be a couple that develop overnight into early tomorrow morning. the winds will be gusty, but i'm not expecting any damage or anything like that. overinto it tone, the cape and islands could see gusts that hour. currently 45 in lawrence. upper 30s in nashua and 31 in taunton are the cooler spots. that's because these clouds, although they are a little thin, will be thickening up. so we're still able to cool. rain is still to our west, so yet. it will be a gradual process in terms of our temperatures. they will rise into the 50s. a lot of these temperatures evening. so i'll say be prepped for 40s to low 50s as we head throughout the afternoon. notice the back edge. i want to point this out.

quick clearing that comes in. that will be ours into tomorrow. the rain will push off the coastline and a sharp clearing line will come in. hour by hour today most of the morning is dry. no weather-related issues. the afternoon, pockets of rain advance through worcester county, connecticut, and rhode island. north and west of boston, pockets of light rain for the evening drive. so na notice the farther east you go, pockets of rain arrive during the evening. heaviest after 10:00 p.m. tonight in through the commute. so if you are an early morning riser, you will encount are the heavy rains and downpours during the morning rush and clearing comes in mid to late morning with temperatures tomorrow afternoon. so how much rain to expect? 1 to 2 inches for most of us. there may be a couple of storm leaves.
