. >> breaking news at 5:30. a 2-year-old who vanished from her bedroom early this morning is now with her parents at the hospital. strangers found the girl with some injuries on the side of the road miles from her house in hamilton. police just executed a search warrant at the child's home. >> also tonight, at least 27 people have been killed during a siege at a hotel in mali. at one point, islamic extremists held 170 people hostage, some of them american. >> now at 5:30, more disturbing evidence in phillip chism's murder trial. the prosecutors say the picture shows him rolling colleen ritzer's body down the hallway in a recycling bin.

and heard graphic testimony from the lead investigator. christina hager is live with more. >> reporter: that video is chilling and leaves the impression that phillip chism walked into the school that day with a plan in place. he is seen walking into the school with several bags on his hands and on his back and seen walking through the halls after the murder in several different changes of clothing. surveillance shows phillip chism, who was only 14 at the time, with a mask on pulling a halls of danvers high. it's the peril prosecutors say he used to move the poddy of colleen ritzer. it was a newly built high school with a newly installed surveillance system that's now serving up the most compelling evidence in the case against chism, accused of stalking

and killing her and pulling her body in that barrel through the surrounding woods. there, police found a shallow grave with a handwritten note "i hate you all" and chism's photo i.d. just a few feet away. such a different snapshot than his history teacher described leaving everyone in court to wonder what may have made him snap. also today, some of the most graphic testimony with crime scene photos passed among the jurors so the family wouldn't have to see it. christina hager, wbz news. back to you. investigators are trying to figure out tonight what sparked an early morning blaze in brighton.

decker to see the flames shooting out of the roof. one firefighter did suffer minor injuries. eight people tonight are looking for a new place to stay. boston police are investigating on the south end. around midnight, police found a man severely beaten and he's now in the hospital with multiple head wounds. convicted spy jonathan pollard is a free man. the 61-year-old pleaded guilty to selling secrets to israel. at the time, he was a navy intelligence officer. he lives in new york city and as part of his parole, he has to stay in the united states for at least five years. imported cucumbers are at the heart of a nationwide salmonella outbreak and it is getting worse. more than 800 people in 38 states have botten sick including some in new hampshire. it says the numbers are going up.

the suburbs. it's back to reality. high temps tomorrow, 45 to 50 degrees, which is where we should be this time of the year. we're in between systems. the one front from this morning is now out to sea. the next storm system is a snowstorm moving its way to the midwest right now. their fist snowstorm of the season. notice the track. it pulls off to our west. with that, we stay on the warmer side of it. there should be a wave of low pressure that forms along this front on sunday. that will give us rain showers. i think especially for southeastern massachusetts, the sunday. behind that, things really start to calm down. for our weekend, tomorrow is your outdoor day. sun and clouds, cool temperatures but we'll be in the upper 40s and 50s. saturday night, increasing cloudiness. on sunday, a chance for some of the showers, especially in southeastern massachusetts. it's also where we'll have our warmest temperatures. meanwhile, 40s in central

parts of the state across worcester county. taking a look at the tree- lighting spectacular. low 40s, cool and dry. no weather issues out there, it will match the season. it felt weird on a day like today. taking a look at early next week, the one system to watch is an area to watch that willing sliding out to see on monday. may brush the cape and islands with rainfall. i think that's going to be about it. the main impact is going to be that storm. we'll feel for the patriots game. 35 degrees at kickoff into the 20s with the patriots beanie that will feel more like the mayoffs are not too -- playoffs are not too far away. look at the northeast forecast hear for tuesday. sun, 40s. wednesday sun, 40s around 50. thanksgiving it's 50s and sunny. if you are going anywhere up and down the eastern seaboard, no issues. here's the accuweather seven- day. it will be chilly next week.
