now at 6:30, new developments in the case of a 2- year-old girl found abandoned on the side of the road. we're live with the breaking details. >> a large outgrowing for a local teen murdered on the west bank. holidays. >> and the patriots struggling with injury, and trying to the bills tomorrow night in foxborough. we begin with breaking news from hamilton. that toddler found friday abandoned on the side of the

road has been released from the hospital tonight. >> i'm kate merrill. thanks for joining us tonight. the former babysitter accused of kidnapping that girl faces charges. >> reporter: kate, the toddler was released from boston children's hospital earlier today, just a couple of days after police say she was kidnapped from her home here in a bizarre case that really still has a lot of unanswered questions. wbz has chosen not to use the toddler's name, or photo, because of the sensitivity of the case. this is abigail hanna, the 21- year-old former babysitter accused of kidnapping a baby girl. police say she broke into the family's south hamilton home. the child was found hours later, 8 miles away on the side of the road. >> i see the child sitting there in the leaves.

wife discovered the girl and called police. >> she was shivering, shacking, and i tried not to startle her, ai approached her slowly. i just noticed she was cold, so i went over to her. >> reporter: she say she was naked. her head shaved, and she had a gash on her head. investigators are revealing little about the case. hanna lives in topsfield, and previously attended nearby gordon college. police arrested her a day after the crime. and right now, abigail hanna is held without bail. she faces numerous charges including kidnapping, and assault and battery. she goes before a judge tomorrow for arraignment. a homeless man in the bronx surprise. a duffel bag filled with some of the weapons stolen from the worcester army reserve center. the homes man was searching for bottles when he made the

former army reservist, james morales will be headed back to massachusetts to face weapons charges. investigating a shooting in a home that left a man dead. officers were called to a home on azalea road for a disturbance. police say a man in the home fired shots from a window. bullets holes are now visible on the outside of the home, and a neighbor watched the whole thing from his window. >> i didn't honestly think that it was going to escalate to that. it's surprising. that's really the best word for it. it's surprising that something like that would happen in a quiet neighborhood like this. >> reporter: a s.w.a.t. team sent a robot inside, and determined that the man was dead. it was not clear if he was killed by police, or if he took his own life. a huge outpouring for a teenager shot in the west bank. >> as paul burton explains.

mourners say the 18-year-old devoted himself to helping others. >> he has his whole life ahead of him, and someone stole his life from him. they just took it away from him. >> reporter: saying goodbye to ezra schwartz. the 18-year-old was killed last week by a terrorist during an attack on the west bank. >> it's not a freak accident. that's the thing. it was on purpose, and he happened to be there. it's so sad. he's 18, and he has his whole life ahead of him. >> very hard for us. >> reporter: hundreds packed sinai temple, while hundreds more stood outside in the rain to pay their respects to a young man who gave his life helping others, and deepening his own faith. >> i know he loved israel. he loved judaism. >> reporter: he was spending a gap year in israel, as part of a faith journey. while stuck in traffic, a palestinian terrorist shot up several cars.

a lawyer for a man who dropped off abdeslam in belgium says the terror suspect may have been wearing an explosive belt under his coat. mohammed abdeslam says he thinks his brother decided at the last moment not to go through with the attack. seven terrorists died in paris, including brahim abdeslam who blew himself up in a theater. they were here to see the american band eagles of death metal. band members told vice news about that night. >> the killers were able to get in and killed every one of them except for a kid who was hiding under my leather jacket. >> killers got in your dressing room. >> yeah. people were playing dead. a great reason why so many were killed was because so many people wouldn't leave their friends.

the bataclan, the priest urged people to embrace love, not violence. >> i've been praying a lot for the victims, for their family. >> reporter: while paris is still grieving, the city is slowly coming back to life. tina kraus, cbs news, paris. donald trump is leading in the polls in new hampshire, but not if a former candidate were in the race. a new boston globe poll finds if mitt romney were running, he would beat trump 2-1 in the state, and one in three would band their current candidate and vote for romney. of course, this is all purely hypothetical. romney has repeatedly said he is not running. one of the heros of the boston marathon helped military families celebrate today. >> they handed out turkeys and pies in norwood. carlos is known for carrying surviver jeff bowman to safety, after bombs blew off both his legs.

speaking of this time of november. to me. >> i'll take this. this is not so bad, barry. i can remember late november feeling much more like january. >> we could be out in chicago l and where they got a foot of snow. the great lakes, they got the foot of snow instead of us. we weren't forecasting that kind of snow, but we thought there was a chance. a lot of it is over southeastern massachusetts. but it seems to be filling back in again, and perhaps going to be filling into central massachusetts as we go through time too. so that is going to be moving along. it looks like it will be in that position as we go through time with that heavier rain moving through and developing back into central portions of massachusetts. the heaviest rain clearly is

southeastern massachusetts. the back edge right in here, sort of wobbling back and forth. but it looks like as cold air starts coming in here, there may be some mixing with ice pellets and snow flakes. at this point, i wouldn't imagine anything would show up on the ground. certainly not plowable amounts. but from could be snow in the air. in the early morning hours, we by morning. it's going to be all cleared up by daybreak, by sunrise. we should end up with a few tenths of an inch of rain near boston, maybe close to a half inch in providence. probably, when it's all said and done, 1 to 1.5 inches over plymouth county, and certainly parts of cape cod. waves of low pressure coming along. it's been so cold in chicago today, hardly getting out of the 20s. so we'll have the sunshine all day long today. tomorrow, the clouds first

they'll move out, so it will be day. a system bringing some patches of clouds, and maybe a spritz or two around. then we're back to nice weather by the middle part of the week. the middle 40s for the most part. look how much coltedder it is out west. buffalo is 32. chicago is only 23. this is the chunk of real chill coming our way. lows by morning, 32 in boston. mid-to upper 30s in cape cod. hardly rising much in boston. just a few degrees near 40. the 30s off to the north and west. for the patriots game, it's going to be really cold tomorrow night. down to around 32 at kickoff, and falling a few degrees into the upper 20s by the end of the 4th quarter. so really, very, very cold. very good traveling weather coming up.

much of the eastern part of the nation as we got closer to thanksgiving. it's going to be warming up to the 50s, and even by friday, the 60s. we seem to be having a record here on every single friday, having warm weather. if these fab fridays continue cold tomorrow. traveling. it looks like we warp up to the 50s on thanksgiving day. i'll see you tonight at 11:00. >> i like the sound of that, thank you, barry. we want to say congratulations team. they won their 7th straight state title this weekend. of course, winning is nothing new for this team. the watertown raiders set a nationwide record for the most games in a row, without losing. they now have gone 160 loss. the last time they did not win was 6 and a half years ago. it's hard to wrap your head around that.

[ music ] tom brady just doesn't play against the bills, he flat out owns them. his overall record against buffalo, 24-3. he has more wins against the bills than any other team in the nfl. but he's going to need help tomorrow night, because guys are getting injured. last week, it was julian edelman going out of the game. come january, julian will be back for the pats drive to the super bowl. but it's not going to be easy, with the injuries starting to pile up. >> just going to focus on my

7 at the 2 minute warning. ryan fitzpatrick gets picked off, and that's going to do it. the jets lose 24-17. they are now 5-5 on the season. cowboys got their quarterback back today, and tony romo made the difference. going for two touchdown passes. dallas breaks a 7 game losing streak, and beat the dolphins. despite being 3-7, they are just two games back of the division lead. the celtics are in brooklyn tonight. right now, it's a tie game as they head into halftime. the bruins had a big one last night. they beat the leafs 2-0 at home and a late goal by the captain was the difference. >> lays it out to the point. chiara, out to the left circle, drives, scores! 1-0 bruins with 3:43 left! >> they'll take it. they won it. college hoops today, bc and harvard.

tom brady and the patriots got to enjoy a rare sunday off today. >> brady posted this picture of himself on facebook, rolling around in leaves outside his brook line home with his dog. he might have watched a couple of football games as well. we don't have confirmation of that. but the caption on the photo read, where did scooby hide my football. >> i can bet you, he was not raking those leaves himself. >> could be a good workout. >> just a guess. we don't know. >> where did scooby hide my football? >> he's got a big football game tomorrow night. he can't be raking, barry. >> if i'm tom brady, i'm never raking in my entire life, ever.
