a couple of clouds will be in place this afternoon. overall no big weather issues. the wind won't be as strong as yesterday, so it won't feel quite as cold. nonetheless, a cooler than average day, quiet and chilly. it is a busy travel day tomorrow. we're going to talk all about that in your thanksgiving forecast, you guys, in a supple of minutes. a warning for americans worldwide on the busiest travel week of the year. this comes amid concerns terror groups are planning more attacks. >> the state department is advising americans all over the world and here at home to avoid large crowds. julie loncich takes a closer security changes in place. >> reporter: just as 47 million americans embark during the year's busiest travel week, there is a new worldwide travel alert. the state department says current information suggests terrorist groups like isis and al qaeda continue to plan attacks around "the globe."

in france, a street cleaner found a suicide vest loaded with explosives in the same area where investigators found a cell phone belonging to fugitive salal abdel salaam. a police officer is expected to face murder charges as a video shows him shooting a teenager more than a dozen times. bree is here now with the latest developments. good morning, bree. >> reporter: good morning. officer jason van dike will be charged with murder. a source close to the investigation tells our sister station in chicago. 17-year-old la kwon mcdonald died a year ago after being shot 16 times. an autopsy shows he had pcp in knife. a judge ordered dash cam video to be made public by tomorrow after the city rejected several freedom of information police superintendent mccarriagery says they are

protests but the mayor vows to hold that officer accountable. >> this officer didn't uphold the law. he took the law into his own hands. he didn't build the trust that we want to see, and he wasn't about providing the safety and security. so at every point, he violated what we trusted him. >> reporter: the mcdonald family says they do not want the video released to the public. back to you. also developing, five people shot at a rally for a black man shot dead by police in minneapolis. several white supremacists showed up. they were asked to leave. the men came back and fired six shots into the crowd. it's unclear if the suspects are in custody. a trooper was hit by a suspected drunk driver outside

several retailers are refusing to sell salmon grown right here in massachusetts and lululemon may be for sale. jill has today's money watch. good morning, jill. >> reporter: good morning, chris and kathryn. lululemon shares are up and more than 15% and rumors that nike and under armor could be interested in buying it. it took a hit after the founder said its yoga pants were sometimes see through because the company's clothes don't work for all women's bodies. remember that scandal? the fda says genetically modified salmon is safe to seat but it may be hard to find it. costco, al did i, trader joe's, wal-mart already said they will not sell the fish to customers. americans sometimes joke about having a work family, but this time of year, it's actually true.

20s at the coastline and 30s when you get from provincetown back around to chatham at 32 degrees. the real feel right now is a bit of a wind. it's not as strong as yesterday. 11 degrees in worcester. so you do want to be bundled up this morning. skies are clear, though, and we are in for a lot of sunshine today. a few clouds mix in at times, but overall, there's not a lot of action across the nation. for us, high pressure will be the big thing. snow showers are coming off into the great lakes. for us, though, sunshine not as cold as yesterday. it will be in the low to mid- 40s for most of us. wednesday a big travel day. great if you are traveling anywhere in new england up and down the eastern seaboard. by thanksgiving, we start to get a wind out of the south. that would bring in moisture in the form of clouds. thanksgiving morning, we get a

stubborn in the afternoon across the interior. we warm into the mid-50s on thanksgiving. then a cold front approaches. notice there's rain and snow with it. it's the leading edge of cold air that will get back in. it looks like the timing of that would come through with rain showers here. high temperatures today, 40 to 45 for most of us tonight. similar to this morning. 20s for a lot of us with clear skies. low 30s when you come into the city of boston. highs top out in the mid-40s for most of us. 60 to end the week. a couple of showers again friday night into early done. saturday, our warmest temperatures will be in the morning. then it'll be chilly by sunday. guys, back to you. a boston professor blasting the producers of the movie "spotlight" saying the way he's portrayed in the film is a complete lie. the movie details the "boston

the patriots go on to win it 20-13. amendola suffered an injury. also this morning, a show of support. hundreds come out to help a paxton animal shelter that burned to the ground. they came to mourn the dozens of animals that perished in the fire. cats and dogs died sunday night. when firefighters got there, they weren't sure they could save any of the animals, but two cats and four dogs survived. >> we had five originally survive and one died on the way to the hospital. we have four. one in critical condition. >> the animal shelter wants to rebuild. donors are already planning fund-raisers to get the new shelter off to a good start. a pause in the phillip chism murder trial. proceedings will resume after thanksgiving. the victim's mother broke down in court when prosecutors
