not the same craze that we used to associate with black friday as stores open earlier and earlier this year. the lines we associate this day are on thanksgiving and the doors here opening at midnight. it's crowded and feels like 6:00 on a saturday and people are shopping and no longer the lies opening and -- the shopping today. susie steimel, wbz this morning. >> thank you. and france and russia agreed to work together in the fight against isis. the french president met with russian president yesterday. they agreed to coordinate the military strikes and share intelligence. russia's cooperation comes with a warning. putin said it won't continue if there is another incident like earlier this week when a russian plane was shot down in turkey. belgium lowered the terror level a notch and officials new

but people are urged to be vigilant and on alert. and the justice minister said a footballative wanted is likely getting sent from others and it's obvious that salah abdeslam is part of a bigger network and that is because it's unlikely he would be able to hide for see long on its own. the first time since the attacks, we're hearing from a band performing at the bataclan. the eagles of death metal spoke to vice.com and the band sound engineer said he was the closest to the shooters when the attacks began. >> i was still standing up and i could see the gunmen and he looked at me and shot at me and messed and he hit my console and buttons went flying everywhere. that is when i went lay down to the ground and we all huddled and i think he thought i probably got hit because i went down so quickly and everybody else around was injured.

>> absolutely terrifying. the band's bassist hid in a room with fans until the shooting was over and other members were able to make it out when one of the gunmen reloaded the weapon. they want to be the first to perform at the bataclan when it reopens. a commuter rail worker killed in a shooting outside of a bar near fenway park and this morning, police are trying to find the gunmen as the family mourns. nicole jacobs is live for us at the scene. the police have not made arrests. catherine. you know what is more important, polarius, easy going and always smiling, how friends describe him. they're remembering him this morning and they want that to be the soul reminder this morning as police continue to search for the person responsible for opening fire here at whose on first. he would have turned 30 years old today, friends say.

those as well trying to pinpoint who is responsible for the crime. nicole jacobs, w about, z this morning. >> and thank you very much. a former millis police officer accused of lying about an ambush and sparking a manhunt is now dead. a family member found his body thanksgiving morning. investigators say that it was not a homicide. in september, you may recall that prosecutors said johnson called in saying shots were being fired at a vehicle and the 24-year-old claimed he hit a tree and the car caught fire. investigators found the story was made up and that he did the damage himself. they charged him with calling in a fake bomb threat at the high school. >> and -- planned in chicago's busiest shopping district. the reverend jesse jackson will join the march remembering 17- year-old lequan mcdonald. he was shot and killed by a white prompt and protestors

hope the presence will discourage black friday shoppers from hitting the stores in that area. and workers are repairing chicago's christmas tree after protestors damaged it during a second night of demonstrations. protestors ripped off some of the lights and crews say the good thing, they tied the lights securely when they first put them. up. and police are looking for a man accused of sitting a jimmy fun cash canister on thanksgiving. look at the security footage we have for you. this man twined a can at the market -- and anyone is asked to call norwood police. an early christmas gift for the mbta police officer injured american bombers. he tweeted the message yesterday. and the newest edition to the donahue family and he said again my wife said it's better than i can about the big news. she wrote wishing everyone a happy thanksgiving.

morning, it's a mild start and temperatures are coming into the 60s later on and 52 inin boston now. this is milder than what our temperatures will be this weekend. and if you like the warmth, enjoy today. the southerly wind, 9 miles an hour and a touch of fog developed as well and we'll get to the visibility in a second. it's colder in a couple of spots. north of boston, 37 and nashua, 39 in taunton and middle to upper 40s for most of us on the cape and the visibility is okay in spots and five miles at logan airport, a quarter of a locally dense. be aware of it if you're out shopping. a quarter of a mile in nashua and concord, new hampshire, as well and other than that, though, just like yesterday, we have some clouds in place and they will give way to some sunshine, great news and we're in for a dry day today and into the 60s and through the overnight and tomorrow, this is

the areas of rain and snow and ice. and in parts of texas and into oklahoma. it's colder in northern texas right now than a lot of us here in the eastern seaboard and that is coming in. sixty to 65 this afternoon and the rain gusts occasionally over 20 miles an hour. the clouds increasing overnight. tomorrow morning is the greatest risk of the shower, 8 a.m. pockets of rain that will go into the south coast. the rest of the day is dry. the morning hours and you have to dodge a couple of raindrops. i don't think we'll see a lot of sunshine tomorrow, but we may get partial clearing coming in and some day, we'll be -- it will be a brighter day overall and with a weak area of high pressure that will build in the second half of the weekend and after midnight, this is when we're tracking the threat for a couple of showers. 6:00 a.m. tomorrow and north of boston. southern new hampshire through the merrimack valley and into

the city, 7, 7:30, great risk of the shower and after, that the south coast and cape may see an isolated shower and that is about it and today's temperatures to beat for records, 66 in worcester. we won't get there and forecasting a high of 60 and 72, the record to beat in boston and 63 degrees and turning cooler during the day tomorrow and highs in the upper 40s. and the same for sunday and a brighter day. monday, chilly. low 40s and bright sunshine. the next round of rain comes in and into the first part of wednesday. it will be a good dose that comes through and 40s and 50s through the middle part of the week. >> and looking good for late november and looking at the pike this morning and this is eastbound. the traffic is about to head, not a lot of traffic. get out there now and into the westbound side, more of the same and not a lot of people on the road this morning. surprising and online shopping? >> true. >> imim-- i'm impressed.

tweeter than beef and i think consumers enjoy that. >> the flavor is pretty amazing. >> reporter: according to the usda, bison is lower in calories and fat than beef and higher in protein and iron. >> and showing you that eating bison over red meat or beef can actually decrease the risk of cardiovascular disease. >> reporter: unlike many meat products on the market, bison are free range and grass fed. they're not giving growth hormones or antibiotics either. >> and -- with the animals to be anything different than mother nature created over thousands of years. >> reporter: dave carter is the executive director of the national bison association and that they have seen a large increase in demand over bison meat the last few years. >> you can go into restaurants and find short ribs. there is fajitas made with bison, great flank steak, brisket and buco, which is made from the shank. >> reporter: with that increased demand comes a higher price.

rush is here. jill wagner is live at the new york stock exchange with today's moneywatch. good morning, jill. >> reporter: good morning, it's the unofficial kickoff to the holiday spending season. if you're planning to hit the malls today, go early. look at that traffic data from google maps and figure out the busiest shopping time last year was between 2-4 and this is a rush at target. this time lapse video from a 6:00 p.m. and hundreds of people piled in looking for discounts and some wind up outside earlier in the afternoon and they get there in the 30s and that is dedication. >> if you dread the end yesterday year holiday party, good work and companies are throwing them. the society for research management and they're not having an end-of-year party at all this year, and a small fraction, the cost and others

dense fog advisory from the national weather service for nowhere bristol county and issued through new york city and philadelphia as well. the south coast of connecticut. a lot of rhode island, too. until 9:00 a.m. and to places like attleboro and taunton and taunton is reporting a quarter of a mile visibility and some extra space between you and the car in front of you and beware of changing visibility. patchy elsewhere and for most of us, burning off by late to mid-morning. 52 in the city of boston; 51 in lawrence. the mild start and some colder pockets. 39 in taunton and 37 in nashua. fortys for a lot of us. and once it burns off like yesterday, we're going to see intervals of clouds and sunshine. it will be another dry day today and we're waiting on the front that brought the snow to iowa and staying in a couple of spots from nebraska through kansas and northern texas right now. areas of snow and ice in the panhandle of oklahoma as well.

worker killed in a shooting outside of a bar near fenway park. and this morning, police are trying to find the gunman. nicole jacobs is live at the scene. the police have not made arrests yet. >> reporter: they have not, catherine. we're told that jesse cherry was here for an early birthday celebration. today would have been his 30th birthday. instead, investigators are trying to solve his murder. and locate look at the video here. he was among hundreds attending a private function at the whose who bar. whose on first bar, i should say, when gunfire erupted. we learned cherry was -- cherry was an mbta conductor and commuter rail conductor and going to work later on that day on thanksgiving. he was among four shot outside of the bar around closing time. the other three suffered non- life-threatening gunshot wounds. and here at whose on first. we're told that shell casings
