powered by ram. over on cbs sports network, boise state and san jose state followed by a basketball double helder starting with virginia tech and fourth ranked iowa state at 7:00 eastern. all right, three weeks ago lubs was number two in the country but three straight losses have les miles sitting firmly on the hot seat. reports came out a couple of hours ago that miles spoke at a booster club luncheon this afternoon and there were insinuations made that he would be coaching his last game for l.s.u. tomorrow. now, a short while ago, the football team's twitter feed sent out a statement to the contrary, stating that he has not resigned, nor did he indicate he was resigning. the word "firing" was not used, or "fired" although that seems to be the vibe les was giving off, with the tiger gridiron club. what should we make of this? >> this the works the kept secret in the history of the world. coaches understand that we're expendable.

you can -- they can make a change. and certainly, that is their prerogative. what i don't like for les miles, given what he's accomplished at l.s.u., is that it's come to 24 where we have all this misinformation, or leaking of information over the course of a week. just make up your mind. >> you would think the brass would be a little more respectful of his tenure there and the success he has had and they have enjoyed while he's been there. but we talked about it last week, there's legitimate displeasure. i've been told during this week there have been a number of assistants who have talked as if it was the last ball game for them and les miles at l.s.u. >> it'll take a heck of a hire to have a guy come in and win 110 games in ten years and do what les miles did over the course of his time. >> we stated last week, first call they'll make is to jimbo fisher. >> that's the word on the street. >> adam: get in line behind the number of teams who have trouble beating nick saban, too. they're among them. that will just about do it for now here, thank you for watching the ram post-game

8 people have been taken to local hospitals. changes are on the way. today was the perfect day to get out and shop on black friday. >> get your christmas tree go for a run go to the playgrounds unseasonably warm and gorgeous. temperatures are about to fall. barry joins us with a first look at the forecast. >> it's still pretty warm close to 60 degrees. tonight middle 50s and lower 50s later tonight. rain could be arriving we could have showers at that point and showers throughout the day tomorrow. so showers are likely later tonight. but the low of only 50 degrees. so not bad. the rest of the weekend

the man at the center of this cruel crime has turned himself in to police. it's a move that had police asking just how low can a person go. >> someone stole jimmy fund donation jar from a store in norwood. one local woman knew who the thief was the moment she saw the surveillance video. as bill shields reports she had to convince her son to turn himself in. reporter: this is a collection can most of us recognize it with cancer. to 44-year-old david deshiro it was something to be stolen. >> i'm pretty shocked someone would take something from an organization like that without any thought really. reporter: it was at this norwood convenience store thanksgiving day. you can see deshiro stuff the collection can under his jacket and walk out. it contained $84 meant to help

kids with cancer. >> he said it was a stupid thing to do. did it. he's fully employed. it's not like he needed the money. reporter: in court deshiro hung his head as prosecutors described the crime and gave credit to his mother who they say spotted him on tv. >> when officers asked him why he stole the change and why he turned himself in he said he didn't know why he did it he said he turned himself in because his mother had seen his picture on the news and it was the right thing to do. reporter: stealing from any charity is bad enough but when you think about it stealing from the jimmy fund doesn't get any worse. in denham bill shields wbz news. the day after thanksgiving and it was in the 60s today. >> there was no excuse for not working off at least you know a third of what we ate yesterday barry because it was so gorgeous out. >> i didn't do it. >> 64, how about that.

that's what it reached in boston this afternoon at 2:04. that's 16 above the average for this date but not too close to the record but actually not that far away. 8 degrees from the record set back in 1896 of 72. we have 55 to 60 degrees and it isn't going to get all that much chillier tonight. the temperature falling off just a little bit. the think isn't going to crash in tonight offer tomorrow. there will be a slow temperature fall during tomorrow. overnight lows boston upper 40s. mid 040s. west of boston. the high temperatures for the day for tomorrow actually going to be occurring just after midnight. the high temperatures during the daylight hours of tomorrow will be happening around 8:00 in the morning especially along the mass pike and points north south of there probably during the morning midday and slowly falling off just a few degrees during the day. the united states is really kind of bisected by this cold

front here separating the warm air to the east and chilly air to the north and west of that. so there is that boundary which is create a strip of showers and that's what we have to deal with for our saturday. so, as we go through the night the clouds will thicken up more. here is the rain tomorrow morning. most of it is going to be on the light side there might be a remote risk of an isolated moderate brief heavier downpour but mostly sprinkles and light showers, occasional to periodic across southern new england. during the afternoon most of it will dry up as it's starting to clear in northern new england and we'll get the clearing coming down here tomorrow night. most of our sunday should be just fine clouds to start off sunday morning. there will be clouds and snow showers in the mountains on sunday afternoon as another cold front comes down out of canada and we'll see a lot colder air beginning of the week. here's my 7-day forecast. about 50 for tomorrow. happening in the morning. mid 40s in the afternoon. a few showers around during the day into early afternoon drying up.

winning 84-80. philly had come into town 0-15 on the year. read for patriots broncos game. jaime collins doubt fill while keyshawn martin michael williams and danny amendola listed as questionable. demarcus ware has been ruled out with a back injury. patriots linebacker jaime collins doubtful but return to 3 yes sir. collins has been out nearly 3 weeks with an illness it's good to see him out there. as for facing 8-2 broncos. brandon la fell says it will be another challenging for the patriots offense. >> we played these guys last year it was a physical game the whole game. we came out to win. they are a great defense them play their best when you got to sit back there hold the ball and those guys push the pocket to make their own quarterback step up.

>> tonight boston police say they are investigate a fight outside a boston nightclub involving a philadelphia sports star. here is the video from wednesday night. tmz claims it shows 19-year-old 76 jahlil okafor yelling at a man hitting him and knocking him to the ground. a representative for okafor tells tmz he was being heckled and feeling threatened. a local father i grieving the loss of his son shot and killed before his 30th birthday. the killer is still on the way. conductor was an innocent bystander when someone started on first. his farther said he had a heart loved. >> i don't go to sleep. i never go to sleep.

friend. >> police are calling it's a brazen attack. they found a gun and shell arrests. and tonight we are least 4 police officers have been injured and several people have been hurt in a shooting rampage at a colorado springs planned parenthood. police are still calling this an active shooter situation. there are a number of businesses in that area. they have contact with the shooter but they also say this is a situation that could continue for several hours. the motive for the attack is unclear but we are following this story. we'll have the very latest on wbz news at 11:00. we had the high effort of highs today in terms of the weather and it's going to drop off a bit here. it will drop off a little tomorrow. it's going to be a mild night tonight. it isn't going to be crashing down on us tonight but tomorrow slow decrease in temperature. afternoon. then mid 40s on sunday should be a great day on sunday.
