well 79 years ago today the surprise attack that hunged the united states into world war ii, pearl harbor. of course so many heres were lost that way, john russell johnson. >> johnson was a purple heart recipient but that award bass lost for decades, as paul burton shows us. >> it's a legacy 74 years in the making. >> it's still unbelievable i think i'm still in shock. >> and a treasure that even the family was unaware was missing, seaman john russell johnson. >> today we are able to at least give back to the family of seaman johnson, a small tribute. >> johnson died on december 7th, 1911 in the attack on board perp harbor, the brockton was 23 years old. >> hurt the family so much, they didn't want to talk about it, my grandmother, my grand

showers break out tomorrow morning, not a huge amount of rain but some rain from time to time, bulk of the rain will go out to sea and there won't be too much of wind, brisk breeze on the cape. then we get to witness, varying amounts of clouds on sun dane and wednesday, showing a parade of of storms moving in the pacific coast, well off to the north and west of us, when they do that storms go to the west, so here is myself in day look at the forecast, calling for temperatures going up into the upper 40s on wednesday, both days containing varying amounts of clouds, showers possible thursday and friday. but look how we warm up over the weekend, briefly cooldown sunday, but a week from today paula and dave we could be in the low to middle 60s with gusty winds and some showers, how about that, december. >> here we go again. >> shopping in our shorts.
