the one suspect. as soon as we have information we were bring it to you. for now, live in quincy, luisa muller, wbz news. back to you. >> thank you. also breaking, the boston public health commission claiming it was norovirus linked to a chipotle restaurant that made almost 80 college students sick. paul burton is life outside cleveland circle. >> reporter: there were concerns that it was e. coli making people sick but the department of public health confirmed it was the norovirus that has made so many boston college students sick. investigators say the restaurant is closed down for the duration until they clean the whole thing out. cleaned out now. tonight, many boston college work crews inside chipotle are busy scrubbing down the restaurant as the boston public health commission confirmed the illness that has sickened so many people, mostly bc students, is the norovirus.

something i had not held before, and vomiting. >> reporter: boston college teenager -- student jim fox associate are chipotle and got sick. he's most of 80 people that complain of gastrointestinal symptoms after eating at this chipotle on cleveland circle. >> a girl in my class was supposed to present but could not because she was sick from eating chipotle. >> reporter: the several violations have caused the restaurant to close, it's being inspected by boston inspectional services. one of the more serious violations include the sick chipotle employee. >> these are violations, temperature patrol issues with food, with someone reporting to work who was ill. >> reporter: chipotle mexican grill says it pink staleness is are the results of the norovirus as well. as for fox, he's going back to class today. >> i'm fine now but i know i have some classmates in the hospital which is unfortunate. >> before we will allow them to

clean bill of health. there will be no compromise. >> reporter: boston public health is urging people who are sick to make sure that they stay at home if they are feeling ill. do not share any food with anyone. reporting live in boston, paul burton, wbz news. >> thank you. we want to showed you that e. coli and the norovirus have some of the same symptoms as you will see here. take a look at the last items, the incubation period. e. coli takes a few days to make you sick, the norovirus works a lot faster, 12 to 48 hours. we have a lot of clouds today and we are seeing some chilly temperatures tonight, eric fisher is tracking another warm-up. we keep seeing this pattern, right? >> we are lined up. mild air keeps working its way in. looks like that pattern will stick around through all of the month and probably start of january which is expected. this is what we are looking for

temperatures falling 25 to 30 in the suburbs, 33 in downtown boston. with fog and mist, temperatures around freezing, the cautious traveling, could be extra slick spots, something we have not had to talk about so far. you get a big storm system just off to the east, light rainfall, mainly toward the cape and islands. looking across the country, we've got a couple of storm systems, one in the midwest, another in the pacific, there's another behind that. they are flooding the pacific with mild air keeping the arctic air from moving southward. that pattern will continue. looking at the hour by hour here, partial clearing overnight, tomorrow night doing with cloud cover but more sunshine than with saturday. partly cloudy. clouds thicken up again tonight with sparkles possible as we head toward thursday morning, not expecting a lot of rain and by thursday afternoon we work and more sunshine again. a lot of back and forth this week, no day is beautiful blue skies but we will see a warming trend.

partly cloudy. as we head toward midday, 43 degrees, winter jacket territory, let's wind than today. mainly cloudy skies by tomorrow evening with the sunset a few seconds later than this evening. as about 45 in boston, 46 taunton, lawrence up to 44 in provincetown, 40. milder air toward the weekend, i think it will be a slow process. we start to get there on saturday, the real mildest of moves in sunday, we could be talking about record highs. never try if you're wondering is 44. we are above it all through the forecast with low 50s thursday, mid 50s friday. if we get enough sunshine we will be way up into the 60s sunday. that is certainly possible. to be honest i'm playing at conservative, we will update the forecast as we head through this week the bottom line, mild air, couple of showers thursday morning, a couple on friday morning, our next significant storm isn't until monday of next week and warm enough for
