we have breaking news, a woman hit and killed by a train at downtown crossing and two hurt. >> this caused major delays. tonight right to julie outside julie. >> reporter: major delays. the good news is that the red line ruled service so everyone who was standing on the votes did get on a train. some delays to gin with but everything is running smoothly now. just fine. hundreds waited for buss and were forced to find other means of transportation during the

the red line was shut down for hours after a female trespasser was struck killed by a train around 6:30. emergency crews responded to remove the 42 year old woman and while firefighters worked to insure power, two were slightly shocked. >> there was a machine they have and they put a clamp on the regular train rail to confirm that the power is shut down so that is what they did exam it was a slight arcing but they are fine. >> reporter: they were taken the hospital just as a precaution to be checked out. >> julie thank you. more breaking news in boston. a man shot exam killed in dorchester. this happened around southern avenue and police have made no arrest. it has happened again, remain stolen for a second time

a teenager charged with murder of killing his math teacher. today a prosecution witness attacked his insanity defense. he claims every action he took was methodical. they say what the actions were that of someone trying to humiliate and democrat nate a victim. 22-year-old kevin murphy held on $100,000 bail is invasion. he and another manteied up a pregnant mom. the victims daughter had to hide in a bathroom to call 911. they were looking for 40,000 $dollar in cash in that home. the homeowners actually own a local bakery. tonight. the plans to extend the green line. the state says without a way to
