our snow fall forecast, looking at these numbers we've had no snow so far, first of all, the first thing to take away, these had last year, particularly along the south coast that is where you are going to see the biggest difference, there is to the going to be that storm after storm after storm with a classic fluffy air. we think at least metro west, wooster county, kind of the more classic winter where that is where we see some of the highest snow falls. plus or minus five inches, either side of the average in the city of boston, lesser amounts in the cape and islands, it looks like it is more of a back loaded winter, end of january, february more cold shots that start to come in. because we've been so mild. temperatures are running in the 40s, it's 6:15 and it's 40 degrees. we are coming into the 50s

clouds are in place, friends to the north, northern eastern maine dealing with areas of freezing rain, we are waiting on rain back to the west coming through the ohio valley right now. this is the same system that was responsible for some severe weather over the weekend and. is some snow on the back side of it. we won't get into that one. on the mild side, areas of rain are going to advance in west to east. that does mean most of the day today is dry, no problems. between 8:00-9:00, rain moves in, here is the map tomorrow morning 7:00 a.m., rain is done. a quick shot does come in, most of us end up with half an inch, in terms of rainfall total, the biggest thing you are going to notice behind this area of low pressure is the wind, gusts 30- 40 miles tomorrow, high pressure builds in wednesday, late on shore wind, sun and clouds noticeably cooler on wednesday. we go from 60 tomorrow to the mid 40s on wednesday afternoon.
