comes in in a couple minute. the suspect in the deadly car crash heads to court today, police say 33-year-old michael burns was high on drugs when he hit and killed a man trying to cross 27, the victim joseph brady was hit while trying to get to his roadside stand where he was selling christmas trees, this is a job he has done for over 40 years, his wife remembers him as a family man and a hard worker. >> that man was my life, you know, my husband is a very gentle and kind man and he took him from me and i won't get him back. >> the driver burns is from tauton and being held on $30,000 bail. investigators are looking into a deadly house fire in wooster, firefighters rushed to the home on burncoat street and found an elderly man and woman inside. paramedics rushed the couple to the hospital where they later died.

one neighborhood, last week thieves took many of the deck rations from this watertown home. on friday, they came back for more. this story quickly spread around the neighborhood and that is when the homeowners friend and they took action, you are prizing them with a brand new display. >> i was so upset, the family is awesome. family -- >> they give a lot and they deserve. >> today when i came out and i saw what they were doing, i was just overwhelmed. all i did was cry. >> how nice, right? the group gathered, donated decorations and bought new ones to make the display possible. it's a keepsake that many parents love this time of year, a picture with santa. but for some children with special needs it can be a difficult experience. susie steimle introduces us to one santa who goes above and beyond to make those kids feel comfortable. >> it's that time of year again, when parents dress up

for a photo with an old friend. but for some families the effort involved in seeing santa often isn't worth the wait. >> my youngest son has autism and cannot wait in line. and crowds. >> that's why pam started bringing her son to caring santa at the burlington mall, it's a program designed to give kids with special needs alone stress. >> the elevators are off, music is off, there aren't crowds, children get as much time with santa as they want. >> as kids get older they stop coming to the mall to visit his helpers. is a messy job. >> brett can tell you firsthand how frustrating lines and crowds can be for a kid with autism. >> it's a little -- >> at 16 he is now a little too old to be sitting on santa's lap but he wanted to come back
