we believe that our schools are safe and we can reopen school district. >> this developing story, los the morning after terror the f.b.i. says those threats were a hoax. >> we have the story in the satellite center. earlier clearly officials took this seriously. >> officials in los angeles stressed that in light of recent terror attacks abroad and just two weeks ago in weren't taking any chances. >> we are closing all district campuses due to a threat that has come. >> calls went out to parents in los angeles. the superintendent closed the entire los angeles unified school district over a threatening email sent to school board members last night. police say it targeted all schools in the system.

policeman william porter. porter is the first of six officers to stand trial in the death of freddy gray that died after he was injured in the back of a police van. this is the jury's first full day of deliberations, the judge tomorrow. all eyes on the federal reserve expected to be history when it raises its key interest decade. many see it as a move of a stronger economy. mortgage rates will rise as a result and savings accounts will see more returns. wall street scored with gains in anticipation of that. a big development from the makers of the hottest holiday toy. we are learning swag way have been slapped with a class action lawsuit over the hoverboards. the man that filed it said the hoverboard he bought for his kids burst into flames and asking for punitive damages that could run to the millions of dollars.

>> not the case in the west. take a look at denver. the biggest winter storm so far. seven inches of snow. this caused a mess on the roads and even in a place where people are used to snow to some degree and major delays at the airport in denver. makes us feel lucky with the weather we have been having. >> not complaining. the snow and cold is all west. for the snow lovers watching, think of this in the holiday season we are given a change in the pattern. these last couple of winters it was our turn and they needed it out west. there is plenty of snow and they will be seeing feet on feet of more snow on christmas day. there is no snow outside of the ski areas. 65 in boston and shy of the record and 11 of the first 15 days have been 50 plus. still at 50 now. if we could hold onto fifty until midnight we would add another day.

50s and that means we are making a run at the top spot in december. a gorgeous sunset. this is a beautiful one. still comfy. 48 in plymouth and 49 in new bedford and 21 in mount washington, mid december, piece of cake and across the northeast, unusually crazy warm air that was in place earlier. it is just cooling down to normal levels. the snow has ended in maine and things quieting down in new england. tomorrow 20 degrees cooler. temperatures in the 30s and northerly breeze and bright at midday, some clouds will form in southeast massachusetts. those will tend to spread as we head through the afternoon and the evening. temperatures holding around 40s as you head on to work. the high temperatures in the mid-40s and a touch about average.
