now at soon, philip chism, the danvers team, the teacher accused of murdering his teacher, is back in court. >> chism faces these other charges for attacking a guard in a juvenile facility while awaiting his murder trial. nicole jacob is live in boston with the latest. good afternoon to you. it's two months after chism was accused of murdering his teacher, colleen ritzer, that he was accused of a crime

he followed a guard into the bathroom and tried to assault her. defense attorney john upper stirred in his place, this time, his clients accused of attacking a department of youth services worker in 2014, charged with attempted murder and assault and battery. >> guilty, deliberate premeditation and extreme atrocity with cruelty. >> it was less than 24 hours ago that he sat stoically through those words . a jury disagreeing with the defense team that he suffered an episode of psychotic disorder, something that the defense said ten. >> guilty. >> he was a juvenile at the time of the crime. yet another trial still hanging in the balance.

court date also waived. and that next court date is february 11th. chism is expected to be sentenced for the murder ofcolleen ritzer next month. >> thank you very much, any coal a judge will hold the sentencing for chism. a hearing on that will be next week. for the first time, ritzer's family will be speaking out about their daughter. rid en was a much loved 24-year- old math teach an the danvers high. her mother says that her faith quote was to find something good in every day. the ritzer family now hopes to carry that message into the future. >> colleen never gave up and neither will we. we will not allow colleen's death to define how she is remembered. >> danvers high school released a statement reading in part, we know colleen's message, quote, no matter what happens in life, be good to people.
