the mbta is over. the termination papers have been signed and sent to vazquez. he wrapped a telephone cord around the lever on the red line train. this letter should have made the train stop when vazquez got out to fix the signal problem. instead when he left the train, it kept barreling down the train tracks with 50 passengers on board. he has the right to appeal through his union and he will do that. the union says he denies rigging the lever and admits he forgot to set the break. i talked with his attorney who says he is not sure why the rush to fire this operator who has had a clean record for his 20 year career. also breaking it 5:00, the

today at -- as it was yesterday at this time. senator. well. we had clear skies all day long. now the clouds are moving in from both sides. it will become overcast overnight. the next storm system is coming in from the west which will bring rainfall tomorrow. overnight hours, low to mid 30s, a little drizzle will develop late. it may be just cold enough into new hampshire as well as worcester county and merrimack county, there could be some freezing rain on trees. we will watch this. other than that, rain tomorrow afternoon. the full forecast is coming up. patriots could clinch a playoff berth this weekend. i know tom brady spoke today. what's new?

the next man up. they are gearing up for the titans on sunday which will be there final home game of the regular season. the injuries keep piling up. rumors say that running back [ name indiscernible ] is finish for the season but he has not been put on injured reserve get. running and catching a today's practice in foxboro, he is working his way back from a broken bone. tom brady, his weapons have changed to what he had in the season opener. today he was asked if he remembers ever having so many injuries in one year.>> there's been quite a bit this year. it's hard to compare. we have lost a lot of guys. critical roles. it has been disappointing for those guys and for all of us. but we are still playing football. we will keep fighting. we will keep practicing hard.
