over the next cple of hours we will put an end to all of the show activity. hour by hour by 9:00 or so maybe the last few showers towards the cape and the islands. the temperatures starting to fall back. any left over water from the rain will start to freeze up over night. be cautious if you are walking around or traveling. could be a few icy spots. many up tos west of boston into the 20s by tomorrow morning. many staying locked into the 30s. i do think some of these snow showers to the west -- [ indiscernible ] especially into central northern massachusetts. another story for tomorrow the winds really start to pick up. we will see gusts 30-40 miles per hour out of the west. that will be adding some extra chill to the air. a taste of winter tomorrow but an active pattern starts to move in again next week.

she has been a very busy bank robber this week. this citizen's bank was likely the latest bank robbery pulled off by this woman. she possibly hispanic, early 30s with a thin build and wearing a pink baseball hat. on wednesday she robbed this bank in fields corner. street. that was thursday. corner. each time she handed the teller a note demanding they hand over the money. no weapon was shown. you might have -- [ indiscernible ] to go on because the citizen's today apparently she left behind a coffee cup with her fingerprints on hit. back to you. the operator of that run away red line train has officially filed a grieve yans.

you can't ever make everybody happy. it will definitely get much cooler. we had 52 in boston. it has become routine. the average high is 40 in boston this time of year. take a look at 50 degree days in december. today was our 13th so far. for the highest number. i think we will have no problem beating that report which was previously set back in 1953. here is the set up tonight. we have had this one front ever so slowly pushing off to the east. the colder air is lingering behind it. just a few areas of showers still out there. it is a damp friday evening. one shower from pembroke into marsh field right other 3. we are be looking at these showers over the next couple of hours. looking at your hour by hour forecast, by 9:00 last showers starting to move towards the cape and the islands and

in clouds overnight. with that the colder air starts moving in. tomorrow evening and beyond you see these lake affect snow showers. i think we will see some of them farther east toward our next of the woods. finally a cold weekend for the ski areas and a little bit of natural snow. 32 in the city. any left over water will start freezing up. could be a few icy spots. boston hasn't gone below the freezing mark this entire month. last year we had a warm december. it gets colder as you move forward. i think we will finally go below freezing on this weekend. saturday night will be the coldest night we have had in a while. 30s tomorrow for most. some low 40s possible towards the cape and the islands. this will be the coldest day we have seen since back in november.

of those gusts 30-40 miles per hour, feels like temperatures to around 30 all through the afternoon. dipping down into the teens at night. it will feel a little jarring compared to weather we have seen saturday a few flurries, windy and cold. tomorrow night get the hot chocolate ready. temperatures fall back through the 20s. on sunday partly cloudy breezy and chilly with a little less wind but more tolerable. we will be closer to 41 for a high temp. 41 at kick off. 37 by the end of the fourth quarter as you head home. the ski areas really hoping for some cold air. this weekend is it with highs for most of them staying close to the freezing mark. that is a forecast they need. unfortunately we go back to our old tricks next week.

will be building in the east. quite a few record highs will be set. how about us here right around christmas time? i think that peak relatively speaking is going to peak on christmas eve. we are forecasting a high of 64. that would be a new record high for the date. our high on christmas day will be at midnight i think. that will be around 60. that could fall short. something we will watch. we will cool down on christmas day. by the afternoon we will probably be falling back into the 40s. here is your full seven day. next week looks a little bit by april. a couple of isolated showers on monday and tuesday as well as wednesday. highs mainly in the 50s. then that peak heat on christmas eve. kind of an unusual here for us here. >> the santa graphic is up now. >> yeah. >> it is a busy seven days. >> reindeer there. all right. thank i you so much.
