that is about where we'll top out after being warm yesterday. we'll take a look at the forecast, and i have snow in the core radar forecast, that is coming up. >> thank you very much. beginning with a developing story, a mother and daughter charged this morning with a hoax in . police say the pair made up a report about seeing a baby thrown from a bridge, rescue crews searching the river. >> once they realized this was year-old daughter christine, they are going to be charged with misleading police and filing a false report. officers say the women reported seeing a man throwing a baby from cuomo bridge around 7:30 last night, the mats sufficient search included a state do you have team, a police helicopter as well as firefighters and officers on the ground. the search was called off right around 10:00 p.m., beth women expected to be i can't rained on monday.

but the prison complex was put in lockdown. one woman came here to try to visit her brother who is an inmate but she was told visiting hours were canceled. >> yeah, i just wanted to see him before the holiday. but, guess we can't now. >> shots fired outside of the prison. >> yeah, i don't know with is going on. >> and state police tell us that they do not believe that anybody was actually hit by gun fire but late last night security was still tight here at this prison complex in shirley as the investigation goes on. in shirley, i'm jim smith wbz this morning. police tell us they are also investigating an attempted home break-in in the area of mci shirley last night, right now they say it's unclear if there is any connection to the reported shots fired.

many of you are going to be shoveling by tuesday morning and that may have gotten your attention, i do think many of you will be shoveling tuesday morning, we'll talk more about that throughout the morning. so right now there is no way we could be shoveling with temperatures in the mid-50s, 30s to the west. we have a lot of changes, been in a drought pattern since really most of the year, we're about 10 inches below average in terms of rainfall, but we are beginning to pick that up and pick up some more here for saturday and sunday morning, so changing. i want you to look at the ray consider, there is frontal system pushed offshore, we have summertime thunderstorms, lightning going off the coast of cape cod, it indicates how summery the air mass is. there is another little line of showers back here, just quickly, but most of the day it is going to be dry.
