police are still searching for the driver, we are told the driver of that suv was not in the vehicle or here on the scene when authorities arrived. they are telling us right now exactly what information they've been able to get from the vehicle that will lead them to the person who was driving, but certainly they are still looking for that person right now. taking another live look at walnut street cafe, you can see those crews trying to kind of regroup and get things cleaned up as the morning goes along, still looking for the driver, we'll continue to keep you updated, just as soon as we get more information. we are live in lynn, nicole jacobs wbz this morning. it's 5:05, a man arrested following a standoff with police on christmas day, heading to court today.

lavon susie steimle is live with more, good morning, susie. >> reporter: good morning, kathryn, this was much more than just a standoff between revin and police, pepper sprayed was used and eventually a fire broke out. he is being blamed for causing morning. >> police stood outside this home for hours begging the man who barricaded himself inside to come out peacefully, initial reports of shots fired had police responding with a swat team. police tried multiple tactics speaker. >> we don't want anyone hurt today. >> hours later mark showed his face, he came out with hands in the air and police made a quick arrest. but the drama didn't end there.
