those black ice surface rice main, i've though the deicers have been hard at work through the night, it still can be very tough on these roads. tuesday's even commute was ugly from the start. a six-car accident in lexington slowed things down there considerably, and set the tone for the night. >> i can tell, just minutes away from it being a complete ice slick out there. reporter: this is just one of a pour of simultaneous multicar accidents in burlington. one on 95 north, and the other on 95 south just a couple of miles aiwa way. >> we're not sliding, but -- >> reporter: having to go extra slow. >> i am definitely, yeah. reporter: black ice was a problem from lexington to burlington and beyond. as soon as the sun set and temperatures fell, driving became much tougher. police in auburn tweeted out this picture of another ice related accident. this one shut down oxford street there four times, but

photos tuesday morning of two men in an altercation outside an andover home. the plow driver said it was a one sided attack that started when mikeling mccullen cut him off and then searched for him before unleashing his anger >> he had a problem. he had an anger issue of some sort. reporter: first conley said mccull up used his range rover to block his plow into this parking lot. >> then he proceeded to three me on the ground. i stood stood up, regained my balance or whatever, we were holding even other. reporter: and then this. >> took the gun out from under his jacket, and put it right in my face. >> reporter: on tuesday afternoon, mccull up, the president and ceo of a securities firm was arrested for assault and battery and assault with a dangerous weapon. according to paperwork, he told police he simply stopped to

they say he helped in the killings of 66-year-old peter patari and kristy johnson. the two were shot and killed earlier this month in their wait street building. another suspect has been already been charged. closure tonight for an avon family looking for their missing son. the robertson family tells wbz that state police have found the body of their son jails. the news comes almost two years from the date of his kidnapping. they say his remains were found upton. so far four men have been kidnapping. >> in just hours a texas teen known for avoiding prison because of his will the parents will be back on a plane to the united states. ethan counsel's hair was died another color when mexican officials arrested him and his mother. she being violated for

thursday, and so should have a final day of 2015 being quite nice with the sunshine peeking through the clouds. should be fine for going out and celebrating the new year coming in on thursday night and friday morning where the temperatures marinerly going down to the low-to-middle 30s, but in the upper 30s in boston tomorrow. maybe mid-30s to lower 30s across to the north. so as we count down and get ready for new year's eve, looks like it will be around 30 to 35 degrees a at that point, as we ring in the new year, and about 35 to 40 for new year's day, so that's the way the forecast looks right now. the winter classic, about 40 degrees in boston, as we take a look at things that goring to be changing here as the pattern changes and brings down some really frigid air here sunday into monday. here is my seven-day forecast. mid-up toker 30s tomorrow, and watch out, allow extra time for travel through tomorrow morning. could still be icy and dicey. nice day for the first day of
