>> firefighters putting it on the line may day call goes out house fire. crews springing into action attempting a dramatic rescue. the flames began early this morning in saugus. hauser. >> i am chris mckinnon. firefighters from several communities called in to fight the fire. nicole jacobs is live with more on battle fire crews faced. >> reporter: the scene here is still very active. several hours after the fire began and, of course, you can still see smoke hovering around the essex street home this was a three alarm blaze that left three fire fight wears close call. it was before dawn just after 5 a.m. thick black smoke billowing above route 1 in saugus seen for miles but a closer look revealed intense flames that forced three out of the essex

bond as woman in and out of homelessness on drug binges and even celebrating with friends and family in the weeks after her daughter's death. the defense painting a different picture of a mother who loved her daughter very much and it was controlled by her daughter's killer. with her head down and hair covering her face, rachelle bond entered pleas of not guilty to charges of accessory after the fact and larceny tied to her daughter's murder. larceny charges new after a grand jury indictment alleging bond continued to collect money from the state on behalf of her daughter when she knew she was dead. >> the defendant knowingly and intentionally knowing mr. mccarthy to have killed her daughter and knowingly intentionally aided him in concealing the crime from discovery. >> reporter: bella bond was first introduced to the world on a billboard as baby doe after her body washed-up on june.
