shy school that forced a prins -- shore high school that forced a principal to resign. swampscott principal was caught in a online swing. susie steimle is live with the details. good morning. >> reporter: good morning kathryn. ed rozmiarek left his position in early december. back than we only heard it was because of inappropriate materials found on school- issued computer. we know he was trying to engage in sexual explicit conversations with what he thought was a 13-year-old girl and got caught former principal ed rozmiarek had parents and students wondering why. >> i guess we are all wondering what is going on. no one knows anything for sure. >> reporter: now the questions are being answered in a police report object tanned by wbzi- team he was caught in a online sting having what he thought

we told you about this fire yesterday morning. three people firefighters were actually trapped inside the home. nicole jacobs is live in saugus with how the firefighters were able to get pulled to safety. good morning nicole. >> reporter: good morning to you chris. over 24 hours ago, that may day call was made right here in saugus. it reminded us all of how dangerous the job can be. it's the kind of heart stopping call filled with panic. >> may day we have a fire ground. >> reporter: may day, alerting firefighters of the surrounding dangers. >> may day. may day. call 911 and get us out of here. >> reporter: a twawl head at 240 essex street he as flames and smoke smuggle the home three firefighters found themselves calling for help.

>> reporter: crossing city lines malden firefighter rescuers. >> within moments we turned around and the room was fully involved and you know, kind of he said you saved my life and i said-- i kind of embraced and went back to just working could go what we are supposed to do. just kind what have we train to dorse. >> reporter: saugus firefighter chris rizza's heroic action saved one of his brothers. >> he thought he was going to die in the fire and might not make it out. he was running low on air and felt like he had a couple seconds left of air and that was going to be it. >> reporter: taking a live look at the essex street home that has been torn down, i can tell you the three people who were inside the home at the time the fire started they were able to escape just fine. as for the three firefighters we are told they escaped with only minor injuries. live in saugus nicole jacobs wbz this morning. >> thank you very much for that

new disturbing details in the bella bond murder case. in court yesterday prosecutors revealed that rachelle bond baby bella's mother was with her boyfriend when her boyfriend michael mccarthy put bella's body in a duffle bag weighed it down and threw it in the ocean the she faces larceny charges for taking money from the state on her daughter's behalf when she knew the two- year-old was dead. and bill cosby will not face sexual assault charges in los angeles. two women came ford a-- forward accusing him of abusing them were teens. but the da says there's not enough evidence to charge cosby and too much time passed. cosby is facing charges in prosecutors in philadelphia say he drugged and assaulted a woman in his home in 200 #. new england patriots player in hot water. neighbors are complaining about what danny amendola put up next to his house. bree is here with a closer look.

house on historic benefit street in providence, the house wasbuilt in 1776. and it's in the college hill historic district. now generally, they are picky about keeping things consistent with the age of the neighborhood. but amendola put up a temporary and much more modern carport and applied for a permit and told the city it would come down in february when he was under less pressure to get to the early morning practices on time. amendola is the pats starting wide receiver logging three touchdowns so far this season despite being injured for two games. he refused to comment but has at least one neighbor had nighs -- in his corner. he suggested he should hire a snow removal company. but he called the temporary carport only "a minor sin." his neighbor says he is thrilled to have amendola living down thestreet but adds it would be cooler if it were tom brady.

early on saturday. it would be very light but all it takes is a trace of freezing interior. not at the coastline but we may get slick in few spots so it's something to watch. heavy rain and possible record highs on sunday. records to beat are in the mid- 50s and i think we will drag enough warm air to come into the low 50s on sunday. 16 in nashua. 10 in keene 27 in the boston and it's another chilly start. the wind is not that strong but is blowing in a couple spots. look at 2 below low the refeel. 19 at logan and 16 in taunton because the wind is calm in some of the outlying communities. satellite and radar quiet. a couple light snow showers to the north and don't have to worry about that. high pressure is still in control of the weather and good things. sunshine and full force a light wind and it makes a difference this time of the year. tomorrow the winds will come in off the ocean. so we start with sunshine in the morning and then a deck of clouds moves in and there may be a couple patchy areas of

>> reporter: good morning. it was over -- morning. >> reporter: good morning. it was over 24 hours the may day call was made here at the home that prompted the dramatic and life saving rescue of three firefighters. let's look here. those firefighters found themselves trapped inside that home overcome with smoke and flames. other firefighters stepped in to rescue them. the saugus fire chief says undoubtedly those were life saving actions. one fear fighter was rescued minutes before he thought he would run out of air. another he was pulled from a window. >> i heard them pounding the wind window to break it and seen his hand and said give me your hand brother. >> reporter: and you can see the home here behind me has been torn down. that was done last night i should also add that the three people who were inside the home at the time of the fire started they were able to make it out and they are safe this morning. i can also tell you the three

el nino storms causing flooding and reeking havoc out west. >> it's been a series of storms and that's the problem. they have been in a drought for four years and when they get this much rain in a short period of time, it has nowhere to go and they have he been dealing with flooding and now residents are dealing with mudslide washing out major highways. some parts of the state saw 4 inches in 24 hours and they need the rain but not this much in short period of time. more rain is expected to fall through thunderstorm and another storm this weekend too. >> this is all like the wholeweather pattern. >> you heard el nino so pacific temperatures are warm and we get the jet stream bringing up the moisture southern california gets the rain and southern sear of the u.s. and other implications going on here. so you will hear it again and again. our weather has been quiet. it's a chilly start. 15 degrees. checking in with weather bug
