out of the south southeast 40 to 60-mile-per-hour gusts and record warmth on tap. changes coming after a very cold start to the weekend. we are looking at overall setup. high pressure is over eastern canada draining down the cold and that's been lobbing us into the 30s to low 40s today. also a lot of cloud cover out there. tough to stay awake today. no question about that and this weekend a perfect candidate for watching football and catching up on the dvr. 40 in boston right now. and plight op as -- plymouth as well. be some pockets of freezing drizzle tonight. look at overnight lows above freezing along the coastline all of southeastern massachusetts. and around bedford and 495, central parts of worcester county where we could go below freezing and a little drizzle moves in off the ocean see specels of it on a east wind that can freeze on contact. it doesn't add up to lot but can cause slick conditions. using a lot of caution on the road and walking around if

neighborhood watch out for ice. tomorrow morning it's cold enough we may see a few snowflakes especially if you are going skiing or snow boarding across vermont and new hampshire. a couple showers developing especially towards the coastline. so summing it up here in green you stay above freezing and tonight all the way through the weekend. and so it's regular drizzle and a couple showers. in pink here especially tonight into the first half of tomorrow a. chance for some icy conditions. and then into new hampshire where we could mix in a few more snowflakes and coat the ground. no significant accumulation. high temps tomorrow well into the 40s boston area south and east and locked in the mid to upper 30s across interior parts of the state also into new hampshire. and we get to sunday big draw of moisture up the east coast and it's going to pour buckets around here on sunday. looks like about 6 hours of heavy rain but right in the middle of the day. and we will see some very strong winds along with the storm system before the drier air moves in on sunday night. so rain totals again 1 to 2

very good bet -- looking like a very good bet for the entire area winds watching far eastern massachusetts and cape and islands war gusts could be up to 60 miles per hour. so isolated power outages and a few trees coming down in the strongest gusts and also looking at gusty winds inland just not as high for the peak gusts. we look at temperatures story near record levels for worcester and boston and southern new england. they are not high records for the date if you look at dates on either side of sunday. but, certainly a chance to set new ones. and unfortunately the warm air goes up through northern new england. so on sunday even the ski slopes changing over to rain saturday is the best day a get out on the slopes. and next week colder air starts to move back in. monday, tuesday and wednesday. and a feel of winter will return. here's full accu-weather seven- day and in terms of the next storm after the weekend we are watching wednesday an arctic front will move through and a storm will develop towards the gulf of maine at least a few snow showers potential for more and the next one we will watch for a chance of wintry weather.
