transit police officer is facing civil rights charges for beating that was caught on video. jennifer garvey surrendered today and was taken into custody. surveillance video from march of 2014 shows garvey pepper spraying and beating a woman with a baton at dudley station she says the use of force was appropriate p and plans to fight the charges. a 24 year old woman faces charges in a hit-and-run crash that killed an elderly woman who was walking in roslindale. she face adjudge today and the victim 79-year-old woman was walking on washington street when she was hit. she kept going after the crash and was stopped a short time later. to a deadly hit-and-run in dorchester a woman is now under arrest accused of hitting a man who was trying to cross washington street and surveillance video will help the prosecution's case. ken macleod has the video all new at five. >> reporter: detectives bagged evidence for much of the
