respect and keep the respect. >> reporter: christina hager wbz news. >> the hingham man imprisoned but freed from iran is staying behind closed doors back home. matt trevithick arrived at the airport last night he was held for 40 days in iran until he was released over the weekend. john kerry made a personal plea to get him freed but it's not clear why he was in prison. new developments in the search for another hingham native a marine missing after a helicopter accident. search crews in hawaii found three lifeboats that were on board the two helicopters that crashed on friday. 12 marines were on board marine corporal christopher orlando of hingham was one of them. today the search he can pannedded to land more than -- expanded to land. more than 06 marines scoured the beaches for traces of the copters. with service and speeches and with song today bostonians remembered the legacy of dr.

we have plenty of wind out there in the meantime, gusting to 40 in providence town and nantucket 39 and delivering plenty of cold we are in the teens and low 20s. colder still off to the west with single digits and teens so on average this is the coldest week of the year and won't live up to the reputation. the wind is going to be persistent and stay gusty through tonight and tomorrow evening and consistent gusts 35 hour. this is going to add lot of chill to the air. tonight and tomorrow morning at the bus stop or tomorrow work. to die down. for this evening real feel temperatures zero to 10 below actual air temps single digits very chilly stuff. same idea for tomorrow morning out the door. and we will have that january in effective sunshine one of my least favorite turns. low 20s for most of the afternoon. then falling back through the teens as we head into the evening.

high temps coldest in central massachusetts staying in the teens. 23 boston and for most of the north show and south shore low 20s. rest of the week quiet and one storm system zipping off to the south on wednesday night reinforcing a little more cold air and wind for thursday. so if you have been asking about the backyard ice rinks freezing up. most towns stay below freezing through the upcoming weekend day and night and we turn our attention to the possible weekend storm. as you imagine when you are five days out there's always here's what we are confident in. there will be a very powerful storm that develops here late in the week. especially looking towards the mid atlantic. this is where it matures and we will get the second phase of the storm as we head into saturday and sunday. looks to move very slowly and when you are five days out you don't know where the rain snow line might set up. where the highest totals are going to be. so i wanted to highlight where the highest confidence is in the corridor through new york and dc and virginia and where

will be a high impact event. now regardless of how much snow we might see we will have onshore winds a full moon high astronomical tides and potential for flooding and erosion. near the shoreline monitor the storm system. we are not at the point to change plans just yet. it's something to stay abreastof through the rest of the week and potential to be bigger. accu-weather seven-day. the workweek is cold and dry through and focusing on saturday, sunday at the end and moving slow enough it could take up a large chunk of saturday and sunday. we will keep you updated with changes as we head through the week. david and paula back to you. >> all right thanks so much. weekend snowstorm would have been a peb perfect time to bring peyton manning to foxboro sadly the patriots have to go to denver. >> sadly this is the deal. steve no home field advantage. >> no it goes through denver butthey will be ready. peyton manning had a great career and tom brady's has been bed better and he is at the top of the game.
