>> i am chris mckinnon. we are getting a better idea where the storm is heading and >> the mid-atlantic will get the brunt of this storm. hooks like they may be measuring the snow in feet by this time this is done. the time frame for us would be later on saturday and into early on sunday with the height of the storm coming in on saturday night. the mid atlantic jackpot also means you will be dealing with flooding and gusty wind posted. the cut off in southern new england and particularly the farther north you go looks like the track is going to be well south and east of nantucket even though that is the case, the coastal concerns are with a full moon on saturday that means astronomical high tides and onshore wind will bring us threats for coastal flooding and beach erosion. which is -- the storm watch to the virginias and north carolina and also baltimore to dc blizzard watches for the friday and saturday time frame. so, the storm itself is going to pick up moisture from the

of the building and the damage is estimated to be about 250,000 dollars. investigators trying to figure out what sparked the deadly fire in scituate. a man was pulled from that burning home on edith holmes drive last night. fire fight hers trouble getting inside because -- firefighters had trouble getting inside because of the clutter in the house. the search is on for a man who shot two people inside a t station. video from riders shows the terrifying moments as chaos unfolded on the blue line. nicole jacobs is live with more. good afternoon. >> reporter: good afternoon to you catherine. -- kathryn. new this afternoon we learned both men shot yesterday have been released from the hospital. all of this while police continue to search for the person responsible. nearly 24 hours later the scene is much different at the maverick t station than it was tuesday afternoon. >> we didn't know whether we were in the middle of a terrorist incident.

anyone with information is urged to contact police. live in east boston this afternoon nicole jacobs wbz news. >> thank you very much. police in new hampshire searching for two suspects in a violent home invasion. chester road. officers say two men wearing ski masks forced their way into the home around 5:30 and they got into a struggle with the homeowner and restrained that person with duct tape. the thieves stole valuables and took offin the victim's car if asked to call police. the search for 12 missing marines has been suspended. the marines were flying in two week. a hingham native corporate christopher orlando is among the missing. search crews have recovered four empty life rafts and debris from the choppers but there's been no sign of the marines. official say the decision to suspend the search was a difficult one.

strong from southern maine to the south coast. real feel is in the single digits. 9 is what it foals like in worcester 14. >> boston. wend chill and real feel has to do with the, posed skin. so as long as you are bundled up you are all right. real feel of 23 in taunton and a few thin wispy clouds out there right now. dry conditions the rest of today and really the story is the cold the next couple days before our weekend storm. couple degrees. a few clouds come in and temperatures in the mid-20s in boston. tonight dipping into the teens in the the suburbs. partly cloudy and right around 20 downtown. and tomorrow we will be -- it today. mostly sunny near 30 degrees. the real feel around 20 because that wind is still going to be a bit gusty between 20 and 30 miles per hour. so where is the weekend storm? it's snowing right now in ohio tennessee. but this is not our storm for

this is going to pass to the south. it will actually float clouds in our direction. our storm is coming through the rockies. doesn't look like a whole lot right now. snow showers through salt lake and western colorado. but this energy is going to dive to the south and develop no a storm center and the southeastern united states during the day tomorrow. with that will be a blossoming shield of snow tomorrow and heading into friday. the mid-atlantic will be slammed by the storm. this is where the heart of the heaviest snow and the wind is going to come with heavy bands that will continue friday into saturday. notice us for us on saturday morning, high pressure is in control. the storm is still going to be to the south and the storm center is going to strengthen as it passes south and east well south and east of nantucket as of right now. so what that means is a pretty sharp cut off to the northern fringe of this storm. it will put us on the cooler side although with marginal temperatures on the cape there

occurs and it pulls out of here pretty quickly as it looks right now on sunday morning. duration convenient but nonetheless comes down steadily and heavily for a few hours especially south of boston. so, keep in mind it's still only wednesday but an early estimate here puts the highest risk for 6 or more inches from the south shore back down near the cape cod canal potentially the vin card as well and from the providence back through -- vineyard as well and from the providence. the totals will be less at nantucket and north of boston there will be a sharp cut off with the amounts tapering off very quickly back up to the mass new hampshire border and nonevent north that. not good news for ski country this is a southern new england event. wind gusts projection maybe strongest far southern plymouth county to the cape where we may see gusts that exceed 50 miles per hour strongest wind comes in saturday night and until sunday morning. so there's two weekend high
