weekend, wouldn't blame you. concentrating on the pass look at numbers new york city 26.8 missed the all time biggest snow tomorrow by a 10th of an inch of snow. 20.8 in philly. 29.3 up at dulles airport north and west of washington, d.c. so as historic as it is it looks like a lot like the blizzard of 96. northern end didn't get as far north as that one. >> 24 days before the pitchers and catchers. and 48 days before the boston marathon. things on the horizon but some winter to go. hooking at temperatures across the eastern seaboard we are in the 30s locally but 40s off to the west. a lot of melting snow out there today. and the next storm system is going to move up off to the north and west and that's a direction that brings in the milder air. so we are not expecting any cold. in fact after a quick drop off in temps through the 20. and refreezing be cautious with

tomorrow morning we are rising. temps that fall back will be in the the low 30s by the time you wake up to start tuesday. a nice beginning breezy and mild. by late january stannardch heading towards midday we are well up into the 40s. clouds will be on the increase and mild but also windy and wind out of the southwest at 10 to 20 and gusts up to 30 miles per hour and a chance for a couple scattered afternoon showers moving through. heavy. feeling more like spring probably smell a bit like spring tomorrow afternoon. high of 48 in boston bedford up to 46 worcester at 42 and approaching 50 in a few towns along the south coast. so plenty of melting will be occurring. the same front takes its time and it's here on wednesday morning and couple rain showersstill possible toward the cape and islands and lingering clouds to the south and east. we will work in more sunshine as the day goes on on wednesday. and again we are up near 40 degrees and another quiet weather day on thursday. the next storm system to watch is towards late thursday and friday morning. and so two piece of-arey to track we have a strong

jet stream and storm system on east coast. the question is, will they phase together and produce stronger storm outside of new england which could produce snow or will it not phase and kick the storm farther off toward the east. right now it's something to watch for us and mainly offshore as it looks at this point but over the next few days we are going to keep an eye on the trends. if there's going to be an impact it's most likely towards cape cod the islands and eastern coastline and that's where we stand tonight. updates heading through the next couple days. full accu-weather seven day not too harsh a big difference compared to last winter. we got the first snow and right into the freezing cold. and this week is all above average and 40s this woke end with a couple rain showers saturday night into sunday. and school yard shout out for tomorrow night pamela gardner school district east elementary in sharon third grade wears motto of a community with heart. helpfulness effort acceptance respect and team work. excellent and really interested in el nino.
