his like. >>reporter: the sisters of them out st. mary's abbey answered a 74 -year-old man's call. one of the sisters walking through the surrounding woods praying heard a voice crying help me i am hurt. >> probably 10, 12-inch diameter. >>reporter: firefighters say he was about a quarter-mile back in the woods behind his house cutting woods. he he was pinned under a tree or at least two hours. >> it would have been life- threatening if he was not found when he was. we got them in time remake he was using a chainsaw to cut down a tree when somehow it fell on him. >> very surprised very safety conscious guy. >> the pastor of the shop until baptist church his next-door neighbor. he says he hits his office would and is not surprised he was out in the nice weather. >> despite his age is robust and active. i was talking to other folks all the time. >> still removing the victim at

are talking about. a lot of damaged cars in these neighborhoods. the culprit hit nine cars and all and try to set about half a dozen on fire. police two were really totally torched. in other cases the damage bad enough you can see sections burned. police taking this very seriously. it is devastating and costly for the victims. >> i think the count is up to nine car breaks, nine have been gone through for items were taken or rummaged through. six of which a fire was started or attempted. >>reporter: insult to injury. >> absolutely. a couple vehicles received significant damage due to the fire. >>reporter: please tell me they are making progress and also asking for the public's help. if anybody saw something they are urged to call portsmouth police.

being taken from a home of squalor. the children discovered during a drug raid last night. police say the home was filled with mice and animal waste. officers also found oxycodone, cocaine and marijuana. two women have been charged and due in court monday. developing tonight two teenagers under arrest for the murder of a man in everett. on january 3 omar reyes was shot and left under a bridge. he later died. today authorities arrested 217 -year-olds for the crime, also due in court monday. two young people facing armed robbery charges after an incident. >> two boys wearing masks used a bb gun to rod another kid of his cell phone at the welch school. the boys took off, officers searched the area and found them on clements avenue. they are due in salem juvenile court monday.

looking for a man who robbed the common man general store. a 37 a surveillance image of the suspect. officers say the man walked into the store, showed a gun and demanded cash. after the robbery he walked away. you have any information call police. tonight investigating what caused the green line trolley to derail this morning near the reservoir station at about 7:30. we are told only seven people were onboard. shuttle buses used until the train was back up and running which took just a few hours. more than a half dozen injured at a motorcycle expo. >> one person dead after a shooting and stabbing. >> two dangerous escapees back behind bars. how they were brought back in after more than a week on the run. the award goes to -- hollywood's big night. a movie about the boston globe spotlight. .
