93 southbound, there you go. looking good. everything else, speed limit ride. now to the big story of the morning. the voters of iowa have spoken, and it was a good night for republican ted cruz. >> on the democratic side, a tight race with hillary clinton and bernie sanders. marley hall is live with a closer look at all the results. marley? >> reporter: chris and kathryn, good morning. hillary clinton clinton says it was not a tie on the democratic side, the former secretary of state declaring victory in a very tight race. the democratic contest in iowa remains unresolved this morning with hillary clinton and bernie sanders locked in a draw. both candidates addressing supporters late last night as the numbers were being counted. >> i will keep standing up for you. i will keep fighting for you. >> we are going to create an economy that works for working families, not just the billionaire class.

this since yesterday morning? >> reporter: yes. authorities were led to two different scenes. the same driver is behind both of them, allegedly dragging a woman under her suv and being chased by witnesses before she stopped. >> reporter: with her head covered, 44-year-old xiao ying zhou listened to the judge. >> she was operating in a strange way, pulled out of the exit, and at that particular point in time, saw the person and tried to assist them. >> reporter: it was in chinatown around 1:30 monday morning. zhou hit a 56-year-old man and a 48-year-old woman police say. >> a witness heard what he believed to be a car alarm when he was witnessing this, and that turned tout be the victim screaming. >> reporter: it was in dorchester, more than 2.5 miles for the international chinatown crash, and the female victim became trapped in the undercarriage and dragged for

>> multiple witnesses did see the victim's legs poking out of the car. >> reporter: he clothing was shredded down the road where it came to a dramatic end. as for the victims' conditions, the man suffered nonlife threatening injuries, and the woman who was in dragged was in extreme critical condition, and bail. >> thank you very much, nicole. a weymouth firefighters has been suspended without pay over comments over narcan. mark karen posted on facebook it's the worst drug ever created. i get no extra money for giving narcan, and when talking about the people revived f you lose, you should lose. last year they responded to 183 overdoses and used it in 114 cases.

frost on the grass here, and we are colder in the suburbs. the city of boston 39 degrees now, 29 in lawrence, 26 in tauton. the skies are clear, and we are out for a bright, beautiful start to the day. there were clouds that cleared the coastline, and now in the berkshires back to northern new england. a come of clouds mixing in today, but overall, a beautiful afternoon, we zoom back out, and snow and rain, and there's a winter storm that is ongoing from kansas to colorado back up into iowa right now, and this is the next weather maker that will come in tomorrow. we will be warm enough, we will be in the form of rain. we will time it out in a second. beautiful weather today, not the 60s we have today, but highs in the mid- to upper 40s. pleasant by the february standards and the wind is light, too.

light under 10 miles an hour for most of us. 35 in boston, and around 30 in the suburbs, and then tomorrow, we are just going to crank up the temperatures as the rain comes in. so does the wind out of the south that brings in the mild air. our high temperatures will probably be reached in the evening hours and the record to beat in boston is 59 degrees, and we are going to get really close to it in the city of boston. highs 55 to 60 for most of us. the morning commute tomorrow, should be dry, and we see rain advance in from west to east, steadiest in the evening hours, and the afternoon as well, and then clearing out, look at that, by thursday morning. it's pretty much done. we may have a predawn shower that lingers, and then brighter and cooler today. there could be leftover showers in south eastern massachusetts early here, and then sun will break out, and then clearing

explain why the race is far from over. >> reporter: good morning, as you mull over the results for iowa last night and look forward to what new hampshire will say next week, it's a good idea to keep a little prospective in mind. presidential races tend to be like football season. there's a lot of excitement when they begin, and if the team gets a few quick wins or losses, the fans get excited or despondent depending on their allegiance, but the super bowl champs are not decided in the fall or even the hot days. it's months and months of hard work and unexpected events, lucky and unlucky. it's very rare the early gains dictate the final outcome as we patriot fans learned this season to our dismay.
