it took the front end off but what's curious and what has detectives ceer rouse -- curious is how it hits the house driver ejected and get pinned under the suv and inside, 73-year-old woman was sleeping. when the suv slammed into the house the driver was ejected and pinned under his vehicle. a neighbor was the first to call 911. >> we have a guy under a van at 159 matfield street. >> okay. >> reporter: firefighters inflated air bags placed under the car to lift it off the 25- year-old driver. >> you have a patient that's underneath a motor vehicle and tough lift the vehicle before you can even start to assist the patient. so, you know takes a few minutes but that's what we do. >> reporter: it happened about 7:30 this morning. after the victim was taken to the hospital, it was apparent that meredith's home suffered

people in vermont are cleaning up after serious flooding. look at this it damaged homes and vehicles and a car dealership. people living in a mobile home park in cal done yeah county evacuated and in central vermont some areas had water nearly 4 feet deep and the biggest concern ice damns this drone video taken in new hampshire shows the extend of the ice damns there. we are told that plantation street is still closed to the public and yesterday afternoon not too far away in franconia the dam broke and the river is flowing again. bill cosby dropped a lawsuit against super model beverly johnson. his lawyers say he can't fully participate because of the criminal case against him in pennsylvania. cosby is facing sexual assault charges there. johnson is one of the dozens of women who claimed cosby assaulted her. his attorneys say they will eventually refile the defamation suit against her. high school kid on the cape are hoping don mcclean's arrest

39 and just a few days left in what's likely going to be a warm he have winter recorded in the boston area. we are in second place right now that's before today's temperatures so actually ticked down a little bit after today and tomorrow not too warm. i don't think we will get to the top spot. it's exceptionally warm winter in new england and december wasn't long way to make that happen. we had 20 days over 50 in december alone. tonight not the same. 20s to low 30s and chilly air moved in across the northeast but it's fleeting as has been much of the cold air this winter. it's here tonight into tomorrow morning and then we will start warming up but heading out tonight the wind still gusting out of the the northwest. and some of the gusts at times over 30 miles per hour. and which means we are talk about wind chill. i had to dust it off tonight. 15 is the feels like tem in worcester. 30 in chatham so bundle up if you are heading out. high pressure is building in. we have clear skies over the

south and a milder day expecting on saturday. the next larger storm system we are tracking likely a potent winter storm off to the west. for us another surge of milder temperatures rain up the eastern seaboard and gustier winds and a couple thunderstorms. people are asking are we sticking a fork in winter? i don't think so yet. there's a chance looking towards the end of next week and next weekend, there will be a little window here for colder air andmaybe a little more snow but the overall trend for march is going to be for warmer than average temperatures. especially middle of march onward. i think we will jump into spring at that point. here's the accu-weather seven- day temps in the 50s for sunday, monday and tuesday and wednesday. and then that cold shot of air moves in for thursday and friday. we will watch a chance for another late week storm.school yard shout out a bunch of 4 and 5-year-old. not 4th and 5th graders.
