scouts were out surveying laurel street the very scene of the shoot out with the tsarnaev brothers. officials say film would go not be in the best interest of watertown. so producer will look for another location. patriots day is produced by our sister company cbs films. a driver is going to face charges after getting pinned under his car and as you can see crashing directly into the side of a home in west bridgewater. police say the driver hit a tree on matfield street was thrown out of the car and got pinnedunderneath while the suv slammed into the home. he is going to be charged. police say the criefer of this car-- . police say the driver of this car was trying to avoid debris when the car rolled over killing him. he was driving on i-95 east in somerset when the accident happened. also tonight,. >> i don't know if they are here i hear them down stairs. >> desperate to keep her two children safe a mother calls

her home. beth germano is live with the story tonight and very scary and the suspect is still out there. >> reporter: and that has the neighborhood a little anxious. the frightening ordeal captured on the 911 call to the police. the intruder had rung the doorbell but she was on the second floor and didn't hear it. and he thought no one was home. >> 911 what's your emergency. >> sorry someone broke into our house can you bring officers. >> reporter: the 911 call to the police. someone had just broken the rear slider and the homeowner had no idea if the intruder was still inside. >> i heard a big crash and then i opened my bedroom door and i heard footsteps and i said hello, and i heard someone run and don't know what went into my bedroom and i have one child across the hall and i amtoo scared to open the door and one child is in my bedroom. >> reporter: the resident put 1 and 3-year-old children down for a nap.

voted to strip the benefit. it's unclear how much of the 350,000 dollars he will be forced to pay back. david. thank you we want to tell tonight. massachusetts department of transportation released the list of the most dangerous intersections in the state and of a red dot. these are the most dangerous intersections across the state. you can see cluster really in brockton and worcester and in springfield as well. now skyeye flew over a couple of the locations and we want to know you north montello street at court street in brockton ranked 154th where there were 38 crashes between 2011 and 2013. on southern artery at broad street in quincy there were 83 crashes ranking that intersection as the 19th most dangerous. and if you want to find out the most dangerous intersections in your neighborhood go to cbs boston.com. paula.

and they certainly come without warning. tonight researchers at m.i.t. say they have come up with a way to predict rogue waves. it has high resolution cancer and radar to identify wave clusters that could develop into a monster wave giving sailors to -- sailors 2 to 3 minutes to prepare and take cover and that's a lot of time when you need to get away. >> but if you can predict the rogue wave is it still a rogue wave and then it loses the cool title and it's just a wave. >> and it comes in and sailors say we knew you were coming. >> we were expecting you. let's talk to eric about the weekend because i am excited for this. >> i know. eric. >> every weekend you have to be excited for. and this is one we creep closer to daylight savings time and that's been high up on my calendar. today's sunset is at 5:30 or was. and after 6 march 13th and we hit daylight savings time and baseball gets going again and

terrain and central massachusetts and getting ready for the hyannis half marathon on sunday. weather looks great as warming continues. high pressure is off to the south. storm track to the north and so overall this weekend the cold is going to stay bottled up to the north. temperatures will start to rise. a weak front approaches on monday with a couple rain showers and more 50s and more 50s right behind that. so for the weekend in focus tomorrow is sunny and police ann after the cold start. breezy in the afternoon especially for coastal areas along the south coast cape island and could see a few gusts 25 to 30 miles per hour. heading towards saturday night partly cloudy and not too cold. down to around 30. chilly and then on sunday, some clouds to the north especially into new hampshire and a mild are day into the 50s and more 50s to come on monday and tuesday. and right now looks like the next significant storm system is going to take another track to our west. and for us, that means gusty winds and rain and probably not
