they were all over the map. two of bernie sanders issues, income equality and ethics, pack. sanders wins the honesty poll too but clinton has experience, strength and electability. early exit polling shows experience is a huge factor across super tuesday. on the gop side, immigration and homeland security, two topics that barely make the democrats radar, are right up there with the economy as key issues. so guess which candidate made those issues his own? trump. like democrats, republican voters want a candidate who shares their views with strength, also a major factor. experience is less important

cab of the runaway train, a phone cord wrapped around the speed control, a clear violation of safety procedures. the report concludes 25-year veteran david vasquez cut corners. because of a signal issue, he'd stepped off the train to activate what's called bypass mode. when he flipped the switch, the train took off with no one at the helm. about 50 passengers endures the harrowing ride before workers was fired. a supervisor must be present mode. and they are looking at adding surveillance cameras to the cab of the train so supervisors can make sure drivers are following the rules.

around midnight tonight. for the overnight hours into western massachusetts and southern new hampshire, a little freezing rain at the onset. mainly about midnight to 3:00 a.m., there could be slick spots if you have to be out. hour by hour, low temps are in the next couple hours, many of us in the low 30s. then the clouds thicken up and we watch this move in. at the beginning around midnight, few thundershowers that far, should be cold, like 28 to 32. we'll see that hold on for a few, then the southerly winds bring in the warmer air and i think it will scour out the cold faster than the last couple systems we have seen. by the time we head out tomorrow morning, it's all rain across the area. it will come down heavy at times and stronger winds. it's a mild and damp spring- like morning but it doesn't last. it's a mild start but by

during the afternoon and evening, it's nasty outside, windy with 20s in central massachusetts, 30s elsewhere. winds will make it feel like teens by the time you're heading to work tomorrow. be prepared with a heavy jacket for the second half of the day. about a half to 1 inch of rain likely, shouldn't cause any major flood issues. we have wind advisories out there, north shore, cape cod and the islands gusting up to 50 miles an hour in the morning with the heavy downpours. could be a few scattered outages because of that. you can see the direction changes to the west and brings in colder air, still gusting 30 afternoon. scattered outages with winds coming down, possible on wednesday, and a much colder finish. thursday has been cold for us,

police say two brothers broke into a home and found a man dead inside. instead of calling 911 to help him, they stole from him. the brothers seen here returned to the home time and time again, stealing his checks, electronics, medication, even copper piping. they both pleaded not guilty in court yesterday. tonight, the city board of health is holding a public hearing discussing the proposal to make buying tobacco productings illegal for anyone under 21. the mayor has said he doesn't support raising the age. >> still ahead, how you can make your mark at the finish line of the boston marathon
