police shootings. both men faced a judge today for drugs and weapons charges. they're now held without bail. a local mechanic is under arrest tonight, accuse offed taking photos up a woman's skirt while she was getting her oil changed. julie loncich is live with more. >> reporter: police are now working to determine if there are possibly other victims out there. he was supposed to be her car, but instead police say todd mitchell violated a customer at the sooner lube on main street. investigators say the 26-year- old man, an employee here, had been working in the pit area of the garage changing oil. when the victim walked into the garage to inquire about her car, she noticed he was holding up his cell phone pointing it in her direction. police charged him with secret

a local lawmaker is proposing a bill to ban sex offenders from a game that has positively taken over public space, including boston common. they worry sex other if offenders could use the game to lure children. and a doctor face aid judge today on charges that he inappropriately touched a woman in his office. he's been ordered to stay away from the woman while and in boston one person is behind bars and another on the run after a couple captured a gun fight on their dash cam. police say they were using the app waze and unwittingly drove up to the shooting. boston police arrested one person overnight and are looking for the second. tonight the family of a little boy who drowned as a city-run summer camp held a vigil for the boy outside the

boston on carson beach the boy drowned last week in the water about 20 yards off the beach. according to his uncle the boy did know how to swim. this evening friends and family released balloons into the air in memory of kaiser. >> a lot of people don't know him, but they came out and looked for him. we want to state police that came out, the first responders that did everything they could to find him. >> a wake for kaiser is held tomorrow, and his funeral thursday. meanwhile today the camp reopened with new safety changes. counselors did an hourly head count. that was new. new security cameras were added, and everyone had to wear life jackets in the water. massachusetts is getting more money to fight the zika

took it to the shelter. >> don't take someone's beloved pet and into the inner city 20 miles away and expect them to have a chance to get the pet back. >> reporter: the nspca says they cared for the cat for two and a half day, but because the cat had no identification and was ill, they decided to euthanize him. >> his health care needs were so advanced we couldn't meet them long term in the animal shelter. we made the decision to humanely euthanize him. it's a terrible situation, but we did the best we could. >> reporter: the family says more should have been done to get ahold of them. >> this is a loved family pet, and they're on animal hospital. don't tell me you can't handle a diabetic animal for at least a week and make an attempt to call the town they came from. >> >. it's critical to make sure your pets into the proper identification so they can contact you in case of an emergency. thank you, a fish mystery

playing out at a local beach. fish are flopping onto the shore. they're a type of herring. experts at the new england aquarium say the most likely explanation is the fish are just trying to escape predators, probably blue fish, and driven onto the beach. >> the blue fish are pushing them into shallow water to increase the probability they'll have them disabled. >> the aquarium also tells us it's part of national life cycle of the fish and it happens every year. tonight police are searching for a thief that stole a tricycle that belongs to a teen with special needs. the bike is blue with a brown seat and large basket, you can see on the bike. it went missing from his backyard yesterday. right now a go fund me page has been set up by friends and

hitting 90 friday, then we have an approaching cold front. this is the next and really only chance of rain. a few showers and storms saturday. not a big widespread rain fall, bit a chance of a little bit of rain, and once the front moves through back into the drier and warm air for sunday and into the start of next week. for the pan mass challenge, we'll be in the sun until lurch, to in -- lunch, so in terms of storms the best after lunch, so a few scattered showers and storms. sunday we dry out, nice breeze, all told a pretty good year for the event. james taylor tomorrow night at fenway, excellent. and pearl jam, 85, so looking great for the con as the results. but -- concert. but the bottom line is beautiful weather to be outside, but in terms of drought relief, not much.
