motorcyclist involved in the bad crash on route 128 has died. sky eye was over the scene where four cars and the motorcycle was involved in the crash. we don't know whether anyone else was hurt. the lanes are open. and the backup is expected to last through the evening commute. a pothole caused major backups for most of the day. you can see the merrimack river the bridge. all lanes of traffic are back open. some boston police officers want more protection on the streets. the boston herald lists the weapons and equipment officers want. among the requests, long guns, ballistic helmets, shields, and extra loaded magazines.
