the alleged motive is unclear. the plain ridge park casino was fined $10,000. the slots parlor violated a dozen rules for storing and serving alcohol. one of the workers was fired and several others were disciplined and all of the casino's bartenders have undergone extra training. boston firefighters had their hands full getting a under control. this was in dorchester. people saw the smoke a long way away and the driver was not hurt. a case of zika virus in palm beach county is being investigated. the infected person was recently in dade county where there are a dozen confirmed cases.

massachusetts. officials in sheffield say they are dealing with the worst rabies outbreak since 1992. they've seen rabbit foxes, skunks, and a woodchuck. and they are warning residents to keep a close eye on pets and children. a fast moving wildfire is moving out of control. the so called pilot fire ignited yesterday afternoon in the san bernardino mountains. so far, the flames have consumed more than 5500 acres evacuate. right now at least 400 firefighters are working to put out the fire. we're learning new information about the deadly hot air balloon crash in texas. investigators believe the pilot was trying to come down through a break in the clouds and didn't notice the power lines below. the balloon hit the lines and

a laptop. he tricked it into accepts a generic key. >> my daughter was sleeping in the room above. her dog was sleeping with her. and the dog slept through it. nobody heard a thing. it's like being invaded. the guy steals you stuff in the driveway. >> typically, thieves target older cars but not these two. working they used a laptop to take a grand cherokee. police arrested the pair but believe they made up with 100 vehicles which were smuggled to mexico. >> if somebody has the knowledge and the ability and knows how to utilize that ability to commit the theft. it's a scary situation. >> a similar string of jeep thefts are under investigation

the robocalls went out for a missing person. and then the discovery a half mile from her mother's home. police searching the area around brooks station road where a k-9 officer discovered 27-year-old vanessa markotte's body. >> we do not know if this was a random act. we are asking the residents of princeton and the surrounding areas caution. >> reporter: she was a google executive who graduated with honors from boston university. >> he was visiting her mother in princeton and left for a quick run and walk on the tree lined route. >> reporter: the investigation razz focused on a time frame. when vanessa went out for a run and when her body was found. that time frame is between the hours of 1 p.m. so 4 p.m.
