high school is accused of raping a student. the attack happened in a school bathroom. chantee lans is live with more on this. >> reporter: the story is pretty disturbing. prosecutors say that a special needs student was sexually assaulted inside a classroom bathroom. >> malden high teachers assistant faces a judge. a person with a disability. prosecutors say he sexually assaulted a special needs 16- year-old while on the job. >> the victim would be offered candy. >> investigators say the boy would hold his urine to avoid going to the bathroom. and he evoked fear to keep the student from telling his mom. >> reporter: the defendant

going to work in our direction for tomorrow. tonight the humidity goes up just a bit. still fairly comfortable for sleeping. partly cloudy skies overnight. and 60s in the suburbs. about 70 in dotolight southwest by the way, there's an -- at 10:04. it's only visible for a minute. you'll want to look to the northwest. 10:04 for the international space station fly by. hi today. topping out in the low 80s. normal for this time of year. the only thing is the humidity goes up. and will be showers, downpours, and storms. the morning commute should be dry. no issues. 10a.m, clouds on the increase and a little bit of sunshine. notice by 10 a.m. there are showers and downpours already making their way to the western part of the state. by midday and lunch hour, numerous showers and thunderstorms around.

a sigh of relief. for almost two weeks, a sexual predator was on the loose. we learned he stalked the woman at a local market. the victim -- almost 80 years old. >> reporter: he's a registered level three sex offender, the kind most likely to reoffend. the first offense was back in '93. and no prosecutors say he struck again. police believe he stalked his victim as she sh the marketplace. the woman he allegedly attacked is 79 years old. and shoppers are stunned. >> who would be stalking somebody in here. moms come in and out quickly, all ages, all shapes, all sizes. >> galvin broke in through a rear screen door and he was naked.
