thunderstorm warning in eastern massachusetts, just issued until 6:00 p.m. and that's for west central portions of bristol county. there is there is a nasty line of thunderstorms with the eastern edge through pawtucket and providence moving south and east. this severe thunderstorm warning does include places like attleboro and near fall river it's for this cell coming out of northern rhode island. the motion of it is south and east at about 25 miles per hour. so underneath the cells, they are not all that fast moving, and it does mean that localized flooding is a concern, ponding of water and damaging wind gusts. so north seekonk by 5:30,

eventually inland park. so notice the motion of the cell. really, the heavy the rain is at 2" per hour. the farther east, route 58, lighter rain, and all of that will continue to push south and east. that's the one thunderstorm we're most concerned with in eastern massachusetts. otherwise, it's all heat. 98 the real feel in boston right now. the storms will continue to push over the south coast in the next hour and a half or so. they should weaken. we'll watch it closely. the cape and islands, maybe a left over shower and then-ace lated thunderstorm between now and this evening, and i'm tracking big temperature changes for tomorrow. we'll talk about that and the weekend in just a few. >> danielle, thank you.

and connecticut. this impacts 813,000 people. taunton to southeastern massachusetts, this is the area under the warning. this is tracking to the southeast at 25 miles per hour. so places like somerset, free town at 5:57, and eventually fairhaven, you will be into this after 6:00. but the worst of the thunderstorms are back across rhode island. every dot is storm diagram and in foster, rhe reporters of many trees down along route 6 along the last hour. a lot of lightning and claps of thunder as well, nothing severe but pouring along route 44 and to kingston and the north side of plymouth. we have an additional severe thunderstorm warning that is showing sign was weakening but

tomorrow. the map shows partial sunshine. the threat for thunderstorms tomorrow is away from the south coast. notice early to mid afternoon, 3:00 p.m., storms pop. just like today, a few of them could be strong to severe. 2:00 to 8:00 p.m., let's keep you on guard tomorrow. a few storms lingering until 9:00, 10:00 and weaken after that. one of the biggest things tomorrow is the swing in 75 in boston tomorrow. the back front bringing the wind off the ocean, a huge difference. we would be near 90 for spots around taunton and providence. through the interior, 80s tomorrow and 70s at the coast. on sunday, the front will lift back north. back in the heat sunday, sunshine, hazy, hot, and humidity, and late day thunderstorms. it will be sticky.
