friday. when it was really over the top i think. i think you would agree with me on that for most of you. it's really over the top. with temperatures up around the upper 90s and dewpoints in the middle 70s that made it feel like 105 to 110. we had excessive heat warnings out on friday. today we'll have the real feel temperatures right around one monday to maybe as high as 105 degrees. but that's bad enough, of course. but not quite as serious as was friday. nevertheless, national weather service has a heat advisory up for the orange shaded area. and the pink zone is where it's feeling the hottest with an excessive heat warning where it may feel more like 105. at most east coastal beaches it will be 95. south coast feeling more like the mid and upper 80s. water temperatures in the low and middle 70s.

ones earlier this morning i drove through that and it was a light ening show on the way to work. but everything is peaceful and quiet. we have a couple showers and storms way out west and that's where the next batch could be developing from or coming from when a cold front gets closer later in the day. scattered afternoon late afternoon thunderstorms into early this evening. and about 94 for an average high and it's going to feel more like more than 100 because of the fact we have the excessive humidity. more on 7 days ahead in we start with breaking news overnight, 6 people were rescued from boston harbor after the boat sank. it happened around 1:30 this morning in dorchester bay near castle island. luckily someone saw the boat sinking and called 911. state police called in the coast guard who went out immediately and found all 6 people still on the partially submerged boat. soaking wet and needing help. passengers were check out by ems onshore and no one was hurt.

boat sank. wbz of course will continue to follow the breaking story throughout the morning and bring you any updates as they become available. also breaking overnight a plea for calm may finally be working after a violent night in milwaukee for hours. protesters clashed with police through threw bricks and set fires. first at gas station and 3 other businesses. it started hours after a man was shot and killed by police as he fled a traffic stop. that shooting is under investigation and the of camera according to the milwaukee journal sentinel. this morning a pedestrian is in the hospital hit by car in south boston last night and injuries are serious. the accident happened just before 8 p.m. on day boulevard. state troopers closed the street for while from the road rotary to mccormick bath house and it's back opened and the injured pedestrian is at boston medical center. now to a wbz exclusive.

investigators are now looking for a man with scratches, cuts or bruises who is in the area of brook station road on sunday afternoon. first responders say someone shot at them while they were answering a call in manchester new hampshire yesterday. police say american and medical response paramedics were checking out a person who passed out in a park lot on elm street when you crew heard and felt a bullet zip -- parking lot on elm street en heard and felt a bullet zip across their heads. no one was hurt. in manchester two men are in jail after street robbery yesterday morning. james dickson and jonathan vertigans are their names of the during the robbery they stabbed 44-year-old mark hathaway near chestnut and lowell streets. victim is expected to recover. undercover police make a drug bust in beverly. officers say two men were tried to sell heroin on elliot street

and extends southwestward down to the plume of tropical moisture which gave 25 to 30 inches of rain maximum some of the biggest rainfall totals down here in louisiana. so some of the tropical moisture will come along the boundary and up into new england but going across from ohio valley into new york state and into northern new england and we may get some few showers and storms out of that late tuesday but it's probably northern new england that will get the heaviest rain out of that on that later tuesday and tuesday night. northeast corridor all the way down to florida. and -- 90s in the northeast corridor all the way to florida. well on way to getting into the 90s today. boston this is the 1th day this season -- 16th day this season this year we have gone over 90. dew points 73 to 75 extending all the way southwestward. there is drier air but it's a long way off. it will turn a little drier tomorrow. but due . in the middle 60s. -- dew points in the middle
