erupping so fast. people can't even think. >> reporter: a second wild fire near lake massmento in central california destroyed 20 homes and threatened 10 more. triple digits temperatures shifting winds and dry brush are making it hard for firefighters to battle the flames. a fire weather watch is in effect for parts of california through wednesday. hena daniels cbs news. now to a story wbz. an 86-year-old locked in dialysis center for hours afterit closed. and this morning that center says they are looking into the matter. wbz nicole jacobs is hive in methuen with a closer look at what happened. nicole. >> reporter: chris, erica crosby looked in the window at her mother looking at her. doors were locked and not a single worker was inside.

grandmother right now undergoing dialysis at the fresenius dialysis center. >> i couldn't believe it. >> reporter: but erica crosby has the picture to prove it her mother locked and left inside the facility alone for hours. >> at first i was enraged and concerned and now i am disgusted. >> reporter: perry is transported to and from dialysis by ambulance. the company reporting when they arrived the doors were locked and the family received a phone call from perry's rehab center she had drove and saw for themselves. >> i ended up calling 911 and said i can't believe i am about to report this but my grandmother is locked inside the dialysis center. >> reporter: cell phone video shows the moment crosby can't believe when her bedridden grandmother was found and rescued by emergency crews. >> somebody has to be accountable for this. this is absolutely not okay.

weather. the hospital redirected ambulances because of the problem. it has been fixed and everything is back to normal this morning. plymouth police are investigating a drowning. the fire chief says the victim is a 69-year-old man from taunton. he was at blueberry camp ground in a canoe fish weg went overboard and drowned at a pond yesterday. state police says he was not wearing a life vest and his name has not been released. dramatic rescue in boston from a sinking boat. those crews rushed to an area near castle island in dorchester bay around 1:30 yesterday morning. there were no injuries and the cause of the sinking is under investigation. also lighthouse beach in chatham is expected to reopen to swimmers today. it was shut down yesterday afternoon after a great white was spotted eating a seal. the atlantic white shark conners is advancey shark tracking app isn't out an alert.

boston police are running no a major roadblock in their plan to test body cameras on their officers. not a single officer is volunteered to wear one. the city and police union reached a deal to put body cameras on a hundred officers starting september 1st. but under the plan, those officers had to agree to wear the cameras in exchange for a small bonus. no one volunteered. boston police commissioner william evans says it's been a hard sell and he might have to it comes to that. a woman is in critical condition after she was hit by a car in south boston. the victim is a 45-year-old woman from quincy. the driver a 75-year-old man from randolph. police say the woman was hit in a crosswalk on day boulevard saturday night. no word if the driver will face any charges. a former uber driver head back to court today charged with raping a 16-year-old passenger. darnell booth is scheduled

today is dry. high pressure is in control. what's going on tomorrow is we have a warm front. warm fronts can get trekkie. so we have cloud and maybe a passing shower in the morning. and notice it's isolated map but mid to late afternoon the warm front lifts north and we get a surge of humidity and it's going to be sticky tomorrow and some thunderstorms are likely to develop tomorrow early to mid afternoon and i think they will be scattered in nature but the risk is there a few it canly tomorrow late in the day of the we will watch that threat closely. by wednesday, that area of low pressure is pulling away. there may be a leftover sprinkle otherwise it's a blend of sun and clouds for wednesday and thursday. thinking about heading to the water this afternoon, water temperatures have been creeping up a bit. beach 84 to 89 degrees and the high tide is coming up by mid to late morning going out through the course of the afternoon. uv index is high you note
