alwayston. the driver -- allston. police were on the scene with the bus and driver at brighton avenue in cambridge street after midnight. no word on a suspect. a huge house fire at a home on plum island. you can see the flames raging shooting from the roof there. that fire broke out around 7:30 last night at the home on 59th street. fire crews from several surrounding communities responded to help fight the flames. there are no reports of any in we didn't speak to -- we did speak to a neighbor who was evacuated. >> i hear one of the people of the house was there and tried to put the fire out and couldn't. once i knew my son was out and i was out i trued to get the cat and the police officer made sure i knew that was not a good idea. >> and the cat is okay. that neighbor tells us the fire response was quick. no word on what caused it. family and friends will begin saying bye to a murdered jogger this week.

overnight developments. >> reporter: a fast moving wild fire has destroyed several homes and businesses in lower lake california. and forced thousands of residents to flee. >> that's it right this. >> reporter: some people are starting to see the devastation around them. >> this is where we all grew up. >> that's all we have known our life. >> and now all our neighbors look what they have to come home to it's horrible absolutely horrible. >> reporter: emergency crews are trying to contain the blaze that has destroyed 3,000 acres. from the ground, and the air. >> we are seeing everything burn right now. grass vegetation, structures, homes, cars. we are experiencing propane tank explosions and so we are throwing everything we have at it. >> reporter: on sunday, the clayton fire jumped the containment line spreading in several directions at once. the four block strip of main street became ground zero after dozens of cars, the post office and winery and a habitat for humanity went up in flames.
