live in new hampshire tonight, ken macleod, wbz news. more breaking news now. a worker in roxbury rushed to the hospital after falling three stories. boston firefighters tell us the man was on scaffolding when he fell. paramedics took him to the hospital in serious condition. a 13-year-old boy is in critical condition after crashing his dirt bike. around 9:00 this morning. the teenager was with his brother and a friend he and hit several trees. the teen's brother rushed him home on his own bike and he is hospitalized with life- threatening injuries. the boy had almost no experience on a dirt bike. and a small private plane made an emergency landing on a sand bar in the northern part of a reservoir near new salem. the pilot was not hurt. breaking news in boston. police are getting ready to

in a south end playground. the boston police commissioner will be speaking about a report that a woman was sexually assaulted in the middle of the night. she was walking alone and the attacker pulled a knife and forced her to walk to the playground. christina hager has the details. >> reporter: on the edge of a college campus, preparing for student move-in in a spot where athletes hold court, dog walkers stroll, and professionhe office. this is now the site of a horrific attack. >> a pretty sad situation. it's under investigation. we have some good leads, hopefully, we'll be able to make an arrest soon. >> a man on a bmx style bike told a woman he was armed with a knife. he made her walk for nearly a half mile ending up in this park where he sexually assaulted her. >> we want you to be on the

church on spine street when police say the attacks occurred. new details about the horrible case of animal abuse in west port. dozens of animals are buried on the farm there and were starved to death. hundreds of animals were found dead or injured on the 70-acre property. as many as two dozen people could face charges in this case. and one of the police officers charged in this violent arrest will plead will enter a plea and be sentenced on thursday. he and joseph flynn within charged with hitting and kicking a suspect after a chase that went from massachusetts to new hampshire. and the case continues and he waived his right to an arraignment next month. the sarah mildred long

temperatures out there. just a pleasant bone dry day and not much humidity. all across the northeast, everyone enjoying beautiful patterns. many cities around the 80- degree mark. the next system is off to the west. this is not going to come knocking until thursday night and into friday. even with that. not expecting a lot of widespread activity. how about the dew points in the 40s. really dry air. that allowed us to dip 40s. the city of boston won't dip below 60 degrees. but a comfortable weekend and a good one to keep the windows wide open. we're stuck on one setting. sunrise at 6:01. and temps in the low 80s by lunchtime. and well in the 80s by tomorrow afternoon. the good news is the humidity stays very low. so it won't be a muggy day. 89 in boston and lawrence.

with the southwesterly winds, 75 to 80 degrees along the water for the cape and the islands tomorrow. a really nice beach day. 85 and i mentioned at the top of the weathercast. i think we have plenty more beach days over the next several weeks. and now we look to the end of the week. and we have southwesterly winds on thursday. and it gets muggy but not humid. and all the showers will stay to the best. it's a dry day friday we have a chance for a few showers and storms. dew points closer to 70. and those will be the hit or miss variety. not expecting a lot of rain out of this front. after that this weekend. high pressure sitting right over the northeast again. it means warm, sunshine, pleasant weather for both saturday and sunday. what it doesn't mean is any rain chances for us. thursday night to friday, a scour or a storm.
