. live from the channel 4 studios in boston this is wbz news at noon. >> breaking news now at noon a bus filled with elementary school kids can on the way to camp crashes head on the way to school with car. kids can on the bus are okay. >> the driver of the car was rushed to the flight. ken macleod is live with the latest on the breaking news. ken. >> reporter: accident reconstruction teams are working here at this very difficult intersection of route 140 and bait street. you can see the black sedan there that clearly got the worst of this impact when it apparently pulled into the path of the school bus right over there carrying 6, 7 and 8-year- olds.

swarmed around a bus where the ride the ymca camp came to a end after 8:30. april hodge ran over to help. >> they were shooken up but very sweet and happy to sit and be calm and wait for the parents to get there. there were tears they were worrying about how to get to camp. >> reporter: the 15 youngsters were camp bound when the hyundai sedan accelerated into the bus's path at blind intersection. >> it sounded like metal-just heard crash. >> reporter: the man driving had to be cut from the wreckage as wan med flighted to the hospital. his female pass ver was transported by ambulance -- passenger was transported by ambulance. the bumped and bruised children were put in a yard where neighbors brought them water and taken to the bathroom. >> counselors and police were talking to them. i didn't see anybody crying or anything like that and i think

held on 500,000 dollars bail and he will be back in court in september. reporting live in roxbury anna meiler wbz news. former pastor accused of sexually assaulting a minor. police say they have been investigating stephen jesmer for several months. the 37-year-old turned himself in to police monday night and he was working at the dialogue church on pine street when the assaults occurred. boston police officers officially begin training on the city's new body cameras prra to use the cameras and what they are used for. the participating officers were chosen randomly by a police consultant acording to the -- according to the globe 55% are white 13% hispanic and 3% are ashan. state police and faa are meeting to figure out what to do with a plane that landed on a sand bar in the quabbin reservoir. water levels are so low because of the drought the plane wail down on the sand bar.
